16.01.2022 We hope everyone is enjoying their football this weekend. As you would understand we are all walking a bit of a tight rope this season due to COVID-19. You ma...y be aware of new cases identified recently within south west Sydney. To protect the greater community, the MFA encourages anyone that attended the Crossroads Hotel from July 3 to 10 to self isolate and come forward for testing. While you are out at the football today, please remember social distancing protocols and abide by club COVID Safety Plans. It is extremely important to remain vigilant during these times. We do not want to end up like our friends in Victoria.

Dylan Mcarthy And a big THANK YOU to James Martin who offered to Ref his first ever game last week under the watchful eye of his Dad and Adam Podger who is our Game Leader coach. The smile on James’ face says it all doesn’t it! If you have a child keen to learn how to be a Game Leader or undertake a Referee course - ( must be 12 to do the course and they usually get held pre season) please get in touch with one of the committee members. 10.01.2022 Don’t our new playing strips look great! Thank you F45 Training Picton for being our elite sponsor from 2020 - 2022. Round 1 usually gets played a lot earlier in the year but as we all know - this season is one like we have never experienced before! Lockdown saw shutdown of sporting activities and soccer was not exempt. With numerous behind the scene meetings and lots of work, the committee along with coaches and team managers were proud (and exhausted) to finally be able ...to pull together our first round of games at home this weekend. 05.01.2022 With the 2020 home and away season coming to a close I wanted to say THANK YOU. As Vice President of the Razorbacks for 2020 it was certainly a season that presented us with many challenges and copious amounts of extra hours and extra work to get the season up and running BUT when it’s all said and done - it was totally worth every minute the Committee spent to see the smiles of players, parents, siblings and supporters each week. Did we get it right every week? Absolutely n...ot. Could we improve on what we did - quite possibly! COVID 19 - you set a series of unprecedented challenges we hope DPWFC and all sporting clubs/ communities and LGA’a never have to experience again. You certainly were a very much unwanted visitor and we would like to say GOODBYE Amie Robertson - the way you lead our club was nothing short of amazing! You saw us through some dark times - always with a positive outlook and you lead us to the end of a successful 2020 season. You are nothing short of amazing - you took on the role of President and in your first season in the position totally rocked it and from the entire DPWFC family we say THANK YOU. Not only were you our club President, you stood into the role of Coach for Under 14 girls - a role I know you love . Thank you for being my peer, my mentor and most importantly- my friend. 2020 took its toll on many of us and I know it took its toll on you and your family Amie but please know from the bottom of our hearts we hope to see you in the same role next year. To the DPWFC Committee - you are all legends. The time you selflessly give to the club does not go unnoticed and without each and everyone of you the season would not be a viable one. To the Coaches and Team Managers - thank you also for your time and commitment to an awesome bunch of players we love and consider family. We hope to see you all back next year. To our players - it is because of YOU that we strive for excellence and perfection - to give you the best season possible and we hope we did that this year given the circumstances we had to work with. 01.01.2022 Evening Razorbacks, Welcome to the 2020 season in the best way possible! Things will be looking a little different on and around the ground for our first round. ... We kindly ask all players, parents and families as well as our wonderful community to adhere to the guidelines put forward by our club the MFA and Football NSW. Please note that due to the current climate we will not be operating the canteen and bbq facilities on game day. Please make sure players and spectators have their own drinks on the day. Club will advise if this will change for future rounds. We hope you enjoy being back on the field. Go Razorbacks!

Many hands make light work as they say and we hope we can get some new faces amongst us. 2020 has taken a big toll on our current committee as it has our entire community. 2021 is looking to already be a huge improvement on what was our 20th anniversary year.
