20.01.2022 Received some great feedback yesterday from a gorgeous mum who decided to give placenta capsules a go. "As for my milk supply there has been absolutely no issue with that right from the beginning. So refreshing and reassuring! My boobs aren't gigantic and have not been engorged, and I've had no pain. Baby feeds like a champ and puts out bursting nappies and poos so much! I think that has been the biggest benefit of the placenta capsules for me. It has been by far the easiest breastfeeding experience of all my babies, and having been through the pain of the struggles twice before, I'm grateful for it going so smoothly this time". 11.01.2022 A mixed bag for me today. Dropped Lu at school, went to my finance job, left there to attend a birth (amazing), left there to go home, left there to pick up a placenta in Heidelberg, came home and processed it, prepared Elf of the Shelf for Luella in the morning, now doing emails. Phew!!! Time for bed.

08.01.2022 Although there might not be clinical evidence that Placenta Encapsulation works, the anecdotal evidence from clients is all the proof I need. Have a look at this beautiful email from a client last week. "Hi Felicity, Just wanted to let you know the capsules are working miracles! Thank you. x "I decided to try placenta encapsulation because I can be highly emotional and I know that I do not cope at all well when I am very tired and frustrated. Given this, I was concerned how I would cope with the early stages of a newborn. I also really wanted to be able to breastfeed. Given these concerns and my desire too breastfeed, I felt it was worth trying plac...enta encapsulation. As this is my first child, I have no previous experience to compare to, however I have felt amazingly calm and able to cope with the demands of motherhood. I am not super tired or emotional. As a result, my baby is also very calm and relaxed, she sleeps so well. I am producing so much milk, my baby is healthy and putting on weight. The nurses have said, whatever you are doing, keep doing it. They are amazed. I had a caesarian with a few complications and I have had a very fast recovery. All of this, the fast recovery from a difficult caesarian, the incredible milk production and the fact that I am happy and not tired and emotional, I put down to the benefits of placenta encapsulation. I was rather skeptical of it, however the results have been quite amazing. Felicity has been fabulous to deal with, answering all of my questions, of which there have been many. I was also very impressed with the turnaround time, from calling Felicity when the baby was born to having the capsules dropped off to me at the hospital. Felicity from Doula by Design went above and beyond to ensure my experience with her before and after birth, was a stress free and enjoyable experience. Through my many emails and questions prior to having baby Sophia, Felicity was always prompt with responses and very helpful. Felicity dropped everything and came to the hospital hours after me giving birth to ensure the placenta was as fresh as possible.... I was unsure about the placenta tablets as I had only done a small amount of research and took a friends advice to do so. My husband and I are so grateful we did as it has been the best experience. With my first son I had severe post-natal depression, I was constantly tired and angry. I can not be sure it is the tablets but can only comment that this experience has been completely the opposite. I believe it is 100% the placenta tablets, as there has been three separate occasions where I have forgotten to take them and I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open. I do not want the bottle to end. I would so highly recommend anyone to get their placenta dried and capsulated as there are so many health benefits, but I love them as I have never been happier or felt better (considering I am only getting about 5 hours sleep a night), I am on top of the world! 06.01.2022 Just arrived home from the Seven Sisters Festival. What an amazing, inspiring, opening, life changing event. Nel and I facilitated a lovely session to a group of women interested in the wonderful placenta, which was a great way to end the festival. Its nice to be home into the arms of my man and threenager. See you all again at Seven Sisters in 2016. x

01.01.2022 I was privileged to attend a birth last week to support a new mum who was an absolute superhero. That and 3 placentas later, I'm ready for another birth (due today!) and 2 more booked placentas this week.
