14.01.2022 We would love to welcome the doctor that walks the beat of birth and birthworkers SUSHEN NAIDOO A progressive and open minded specialist looking after Pregnancy, Birth and Women’s Health from one generation to the next. With a warm and caring collaborative approach, Dr.Sush lives and breathes his passion for looking after families, parents and their new born baby.... Dr.Sush uses an agile learning mindset to innovate in delivering babies and works with his patient's choices in personalising their birthing experience. Philosophy I believe it is a privilege to help bring the next generation of your family safely into this world. The time spent with my patients and their kids is highly valued. My vision is to foster lasting relationships and be involved in the care of families long after delivering their babies. My consultations are meaningful, supportive, open minded and above all about my patients. I have a passion for holistic and individualised care. Every parent’s journey is different, hence my goal is to create connections that can speak to every generation. Obstetrics for me is about JOY. The Joy of seeing that first scan, hearing that first heart beat, meeting this new person that has been growing inside you, and the joy of realising that this moment is only the beginning. This is why I am an Obstetrician.

14.01.2022 The People Behind the Production As you can imagine weaving a conference, in whatever form it exists, can take a number of balls of coloured thread to create. Sunderai Felich has been one of our guardians to creation. Inviting, corresponding and integrating our speakers into the event. Rachana Shivam, our other guardian, who has kept us looking at the important things and connecting with the greater community and media. Brigid Louise Weaver, who in her name as brought th...is event together with image, craft, grace and beauty and was such a solid grounding presence through and on the actual two days. Melissa Jane who kept all the ticket, sponsorship, exhibition table and bookings precessing and correspondance running smoothly Stephanie Norquay, who’s job of venue and catering was SO large, yet made redundant in the ultimate situation, but worked with such grace and adjustment. Claire Wyborn, our Doula Network Australia representative and all round practical help with lots of correspondence, sharing and superb support technically and nutritionally on the two event days Myself, Jo Askham, who initially was working with the website and finances, with a very quick two week booster of technical webinar hosting. I would also like to mention Kelly McCormick and Melanie Abrams who kept us connected on Social Media and via Newsletter. There are so many more organisational things that have come into what we feel was a pretty successful event. Looking forward to more connection in the future.
