12.01.2022 It's happening people!!! After 10 months of not being able to support families in hospitals...WE'RE HEADING BACK IN!!!! So far we are allowed to work in: Cabrini Malvern, The Northern Epping, St Vincent's Private Fitzroy, Frankston and The Royal Women's Parkville. We are waiting with much anticipation for Eastern Health to follow suit ... Naturally we simply MUST celebrate this milestone and see off this crazy year with a bang, so once it has been announced that we are back in to the locals Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Monash Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne and Mitcham Private Hospital we will run a HUGE sale for all the post iso birthers Simply CAN NOT wait to get back to work WATCH THIS SPACE!!

10.01.2022 As yet another year draws to a close I want to send my heartfelt thanks to everyone that has made it such a fantastic one.. My busiest to date..so many families, so many babies, so much love.. Let's keep that oxytocin flowing as we transition into a new decade... It's also the time of year that brings resolutions and reflections along with reviews and as the cost of living is creeping up I will be reviewing pricing and adding a small necessary price increase. I have decided to hold off on this until the end of January, so if you're thinking about booking now is the time to get in touch to get 2020 at 2019 prices . If that means retiring from what you have known and loved for the last 7 years then that is a leap that has to be made. So today at Doulas of Melbourne's East (D.O.M.E.) we say farewell to Em Jones as she moves on to greener pastures. 02.01.2022 At the risk of sounding sweary.. I call bullshit.. so what I'm hearing is "It's ok to birth at the pub, or the golf course, or at home if you want to have the support of more than one person at your birth" and AFL?? Dont get me started!!!! but heaven forbid you prefer to birth at hospital or can't afford a homebirth midwife and wish to have a Doula to bridge that gap... this is a seriously horrible back step for women's rights, and it's making my heart bleed so so much. These are families that I am with for hours prior to heading to hospital..And for hours post birth.. Who exactly is this protecting Dan Andrews?? Who?? Here is Dan Andrew's email address for all the women out there who think this is just as horrifying as I do [email protected] fight with me, this is wrong on so so many levels ~Jen
