24.01.2022 Well it seems that unless a quick turnabout with Covid & it disappearing there wont be a reunion this year, perhaps a small one for triose who live in SA as we are Covid safe at present. But if it is to happen someone other than me will have to organise it, I am snowed under caring for my son ..plus my own health not so good.. I hope you all have got this far & escaped the nasty Covid.. Good luck to all

22.01.2022 Sorry for my absence but I haven't been well, things may yet get worse, so if I disappear that is why.. the purpose of setting this up was to redirect to the main group as I knew many might miss seeing that. So if you haven't already joined the main group . Search for " Where are the girls who went to Dover Gardens Girls Tech? " we are at about 278 members so you are bound to find someone there you knew from your school years.

21.01.2022 Well girls we are here now in the year 2020 almost sounds like the song " in the year 2525 if there's still anyone alive" if you are of my same age that should ring a bell in your head. Anyhow it happens to be the anniversary year this year of the school opening it's doors to students for the first time in 1965. I started 66 the 2nd year. I put the word out last year hoping some of you would organise a gathering to commemorate the 55th year, but to my knowledge nothing has been organised yet.

15.01.2022 I got this message on the Dover Gardens Girls tech site that I manage so I said I would re -post it here to see if anyone knew this girls mum the one seeking out old friends of her mum is Sammy Leedham Here is the message Hi, I am wanting to see if there are any school friends of my mother's. Her maiden name was Paula Livesey and she would have attended between 1965/66 and 1968. Would love to reconnect with anyone who knew her or has photos from when she attended. Thank you in advance

08.01.2022 I hope you are all coping with this freezing weather. Maybe a few who migrated north are more fortunate.. these extremes of weather as in very hot summers & very cold winters is why we need to think carefully about the month to choose for the 55th reunion gathering for 2020..

08.01.2022 I am not sure if I have ever shared this sample of a documentary put together by Ashley Starkey before . But my voice can be heard saying about how many children were on the quadrum, & also about saluting the flag & later int his same you can hear me say how they were fun years & I wish I could turn back the clock its the final bit of this sample.. 04.01.2022 When I set this site up i obviously clicked something wrong & its not the type of page i actually intended it to be, but its been going now a while & people do visit it & I appreciated that . I occasionally see the option to invite people in, obviously I only invite in previous students of this school , but i think I am limited to those who are on my friends list. so by all means if you are able can you invite in others you may have as fc bk friends who attended this school .?

02.01.2022 Yesterday I was asked if I could start up a Facebook site to see if there are any remaining living or close descendants of the 13th Field Australian Regiment that served in WW11 up in New Guinea.. Their nick name was the "Mice of Morseby " I even had it explained yesterday how they came about this name. I have too much on my plate to start up organise & administer a site as i have already too much on my plate. But what I ask is if all my caring friends could share this on their sites to see if any feed back of close descendants, as in Children or Grandchildren of those who served in this particular Army Unit it was Artillery, most initially were from SA, obviously they could have spread far wide throughout Australia
