21.01.2022 From Garden To Table - We created a Greek dish named Moussaka, using our very own grown potatoes and eggplants! The final verdict spoke for itself, as the children asked for seconds. Yum!!

20.01.2022 We love visiting Randwick Sustainability Hub! On todays excursion we selected the program Energy: Hello Sun. The children discovered and engaged in light and shade activities. We then explored the garden to see how light affects plants and planted our very own sun-loving vegie seeds - peas.

20.01.2022 Mental Health and Wellbeing is a priority at Dover Heights Community Preschool. We are members of Be You Early Learning - which aims to transform Australias approach to supporting childrens and young peoples mental health in early learning services. 14.01.2022 Happy first day for Term 1! We welcomed back our Kookaburras group, to a beautiful and blooming garden.

12.01.2022 Beautiful floral art! The children have been busy planting succulent plants, which will be ready to sell at Bondi Markets sometime soon.

11.01.2022 We have harvested the seeds from our sunflowers and will re-plant them again in Spring. Children were then inspired to draw and paint their very own sunflower.

11.01.2022 We welcome our new children and their families into the Lorikeets group. We have started our first day with curious exploration, to see what fun activities preschool has to offer. There is one available vacancy in this group, for a Monday and Tuesday. The hours are from 8.15am - 3.45pm and the fees are $65 per day. 08.01.2022 Day 1 of Holidays! Wishing everyone an enjoyable and safe break.

07.01.2022 Come visit us at Bondi Markets 10am-4pm! All succulents are grown by the children

06.01.2022 We received some lovely fresh cucumbers and spaghetti squash from one of our families, that had been grown on their farm. From this we decided to create two cooking experiences - making a yoghurt dip tzatziki with the cucumbers and basting the spaghetti squash with garlic and butter.

04.01.2022 Join our friend Jo from Ukubebe Music, this Sunday at 10am over on her Facebook page, for a sing along to celebrate all the special Mothers and Grandmothers.

03.01.2022 Following some childrens interest in making kites, we planned an excursion to our local park. It was the perfect weather for kite flying and there were plenty of smiles and giggles.

01.01.2022 Today we visited the Australian Museum for Science In The City Week. There were interactive workshops and shows demonstrating the latest in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
