05.01.2022 STAY HOME BUT STAY HEALTHY Exercise truly is medicine when it comes to both physical and mental health. Here are our top 5 tips to stay healthy and happy at home: 1. Quality over Quantity - Aim for 20-40 minutes maximum at around 70-80% max effort. You don’t need hours to get results! 2. Listen to your body - Mix it up between strength, HIIT and running or choose an ACTIVE RECOVERY option such as a slow walk or yoga. Take this opportunity to work on the little things su...ch as mobility, stability or prehab. 3. NUTRITION & HYDRATION - food is fuel! Try to maintain routine with your diet, including regular/normal meal and snack times. 4. Mix it up between compound exercises (functional) and unilateral movements (stability and motor control) 5. Get CREATIVE with your EQUIPMENT! Try filling milk bottles with sand or water. If the weight is still too light - increase intensity by increasing the amount of reps or rounds and/or decreasing rest time.
