22.01.2022 Really was a beautiful afternoon yesterday @sealrockslighthousecottages for the marriage of talented musicians Jodie & Joel. The intimate circular ceremony complete with tambourine bouquets, cardboard cut out bridesmaid and special tributes was perfectly fitting. This couple doesn’t even own a TV, content just listening to albums of an evening and analysing the lyrics. From someone who can’t see what her evening would look like without Netflix I am in complete awe #nowthatslove

20.01.2022 Those who know me well know I rarely cry. Well today I did a little more than choke up..I could have blamed the current climate or the thousands of mozzies at One Mile Forster, but really it was just these two. Colin & Melissa have ridden the roller coaster these last few weeks and were determined to make today happen despite the adversity. The date meant something to them and the intimate group turned out to be more than enough. They shared heart felt vows, some Moët (despite both hating champagne...don’t worry I made sure it didn’t go to waste ) and a first dance on top of the dune. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Except I wanted to squeeze them and of course couldn’t #coronasucks but #lovewins

18.01.2022 Feel like I’ve really lost my wedding mojo these past few months so it’s nice to see enquires start to trickle in again and getting excited for the new season. Looking back on my past few weddings this one was a favourite. Maddie and Sam were meant to be married barefoot on Shoal Bay Beach where they met as kids at the local caravan park cruising around on their bikes under the watchful eye of their parents. When I left the sun was shining and I stupidly didn’t pack my heels. Of course on arrival the rain was torrential and we moved to Fingal Bay for the wet weather plan at the gorgeous @saltwaterfingalbay where I had to do the ceremony in my saltwater sandals being a far cry from precious these guys thought it was hilarious and it was smiles the whole way through. I loved them. Perhaps why my smile is extra cheesy here

17.01.2022 One of the last weddings before lock down - Fanny & Marc were married at @seaeaglepoint 21.03.20 in front of a gorgeous Swedish & Australian guest list. We all laughed over their first encounter which was the boat over to the full moon party in Koh Phangan. Fanny overheard Marcs friends discussing her appendix scar and how it was most likely from the removal of her Siamese twin. A great ice breaker for later! Fanny was the gorgeous foreigner with tanned skin and blue eyes and Marc to Fanny was a bit of George Clooney meets Crocodile Dundee They has moved mountains to make this day happen including 3 months working a farm in WA (population 6 including them!) and it was such a happy day I can’t wait to start sharing more stories like this - starting next week!

10.01.2022 Ending 2020 on a real high after a truly shitty year with two Hunter Valley weddings Hayley & Dom were two absolute sweethearts and their wedding was perfect, right down to the confetti cones lovingly crafted and autographed by Hayley’s kindy class Somehow the weddings that have finally happened after so much uncertainly and postponements have felt all the more special, and I’m so happy I got to be the one marrying them. Here’s to a 2021 full of love and hopefully overseas honeymoons

05.01.2022 There is something extra special about weddings right now. I actually got a bit choked up doing this one. It was such a roller coaster of a few months for Kate & Simon but they went ahead and got married in the most intimate of ceremonies on Saturday in Kirribilli.

05.01.2022 A day before Sydney was sent into Covid turmoil, under a shroud of elopement secrecy, my little family and I snuck up the M1 to Berowra Valley National Park where I had the absolute joy of marrying my colleague and dear friend Emily to the love of her life Mike. Like many other couples, the Covid pandemic had forced them to cancel their original plans in April and inadvertently forced them to think about what was most important to them. What prevailed was the most beautiful a...nd intimate of ceremonies at the most spectacular location just meters from their home. The ceremony was shared with Em’s gorgeous daughter Mackenzie, their lovable schnauzers Wolfgang and Freidrich, Zoe- one of Em’s best friends- and their photographers @foxandkin. I know Em’s mum was their in spirit with us too, as well as many other ancient spirits deep within the land. They then surprised the rest of their family at Christmas with their news! So cheers to Em and Mike and here’s to 2021. May we continue to be challenged, may we continue to learn what is important, and may we find joy and happiness in our own backyard See more

03.01.2022 211120 Dylan & Lilly has the sweetest love story which dated back to where Lilly collected the plates at Dylan’s local pub bistro with a certain attitude he found endearing. These guys have had the hardest 2020 but their scaled down wedding on Saturday couldn’t have been sweeter with the news of a baby on the way. It was intimate and emotional and I just loved these guys and witnessing the serious amount of love they have for each other. It was a great day! amazing set up as always by @martinandko

I do hope Lee buys you that sausage dog puppy (we all heard it in the vows!) you made my job so easy and better still left me some lovely feedback ... Really loved the ceremony, I got a lot of comments on how relaxed and fun you were. Pretty sure you are the best celebrant and so glad we got you! I can’t give you any feedback, only praise.
