22.01.2022 The first time we dropped garden beds off to Common Ground we were left wondering... What is Common Ground Tas? What is this large inner city building being used for? And why do they want our garden beds? The second time around, it all became a little more transparent as we dropped the beds off and got the tour from Jeff. What a great model for affordable housing. And what a great use for our Garden Beds... The photo's show the first batch of Dovetail garden beds establis...hed and planted out in the corner of the common court yard. We have already moved over 1000 tonnes of wood and machinery, lucky for us the site is just next door. In the mean time our mini "helpers" have been busy growing and practicing their roller driving skills.

08.01.2022 A couple of weeks back, at the Taste of the Huon, we had, by chance, a few different people ask us about making beds to put around decaying apple crates. The idea being that there will be no digging needed as the new beds will fit neatly around the old, going together like Lego. Of course we said it would be no trouble at all. David and Suan Moore got back in touch a couple of days later and placed an order for Seven. Now they are busily installing their new beds and Susan h...as added a post to her blog... We'll be putting the 'apple crate replacement' bed as a standard item on our product list! 05.01.2022 One Dovetail Timbers Garden Shack going up in the South Hobart Community Garden. Putting them together is a little like child's play with an oversized Lego set. This little building started out, in part, as a large Macrocarpa Pine towering over the proposed community garden site, 100m to the North. We took the tree and milled it up, dried it out, had it neatly dressed and then dovetailed... We are currently making sheds and shacks to order.... We'll keep you posted with more pictures of the finished garden shack to come.
