When life gets tough, Downes gets back to our core ideals; We are committed to quality service and genuine care for people! Some of you would have seen aspects of this whilst instore, from the randomly gifted boots, the hugs, the local community on the fringes that we are here for. (Via FB Video Chat, Skype, and Zoom!!) We're currently attempting to film 400 product reviews in our uniquely Downes way!!! - Log on to have a virtual smell, touch and feel!! The FB poll has spoken with well balanced responses, and we're t...aking all of your advices, staying 9am-12pm, and working on Virtual Videos for the afternoon. We will have a local same day delivery service available, and will be available for video visits to the store including remote fitting and delivery via aus post, (everywhere) and local delivery. We strongly adhere to advice by qld govt, social distancing, to restrict all non essential activity, we understand that we are sometimes essential in supply in our small way, in the 2011 floods we were open for the mud army to supply steel toe gumboots, and hugs...
