23.01.2022 Wednesday night, the Downlands Rover Crew got stuck into our first Business Meeting of the year, with updates from what has happened, to badgework completed and proposed and, future plans for our crew being planned out. 22.01.2022 Tonight we had another successful remote meeting playing a Downlands themed Kahoot and Cards Against Humanity. We also fitted in a cheeky crew meeting and would like to announce our new crew leader Alex Reedy. He might live in South Australia now but due to our crew nights being online he has felt that it is his time to shine and guide our crew into the era of technology! *Disclaimer this is only until we can have our next AGM.

21.01.2022 Last Night the Rovers treated themselves. We went out and invited the Venturers to McFormal with pretty dresses and stunning suits. Complete with table cloths, cutlery and joyful dinner conversations. It was a splendid sight. #qldrovers #downlandsrocksyoursocks #roversdostuff



20.01.2022 Last week three of our Rovers went hiking and completed the Carnarvon Gorge Great! Walk with a couple of Gateway Rover Scouts completing 87km over 6 days. Looks like they had an awesome time. Congratulations to Heather for completing her Physical Badge towards her BPSA!

14.01.2022 The aftermath of Rovers helping at Scouts. With our intersection nights upon us we started at Scouts. The night was full of games, challenges, team building and laughing. Thank you to the Leaders for allowing us to come along and to the Scouts for putting in 100% of energy for all the tasks. 12.01.2022 What a weekend!! The rain didn't stop us. Over the weekend our crew attended QARM with two days full of water activities, and we had a great time. From waterslides, to treasure hunts, to beach volleyball. The photos below show us as a crew giving back building and painting animal nests for the wildlife. 12.01.2022 The Downlands Rover Crew had an activity packed weekend. Starting on Saturday afternoon we had a blast building chariots and a rope bridge, decorating signs and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Wishart Chester Scout Den for our sign on day. Then a wet wet wet Sunday for founders day and a water themed JaCs rally, also celebrating 30 years of Joeys. The weekend ended with the first QBRC, were our rovers got updates on all the upcoming events and got to talk about what we wish...ed to do and achieve in 2020. #qldrovers #downlandsrocksyoursocks #roversdostuff

08.01.2022 THE STATE OF ROVERIN' Tonight we had a joint night with a rival crew from across the border with 2nd Normanhurst Rover Crew is an awesome and vibrant crew from NSW. But tonight we battled the night away with scavenger hunts, rap battle and challenges galore it was as a hilarious night building friendship across Australia! Normo may have been victorious this time, but there is always next year. Don't let those state borders determine who you can have join crew nights with!
