22.01.2022 As important as it is to be fit tested, to the correct mask meeting your WHS duties and obligations doesn't stop there. A PCBU - person controlling a business o...r undertaking must ensure their personnel wear the mask as per relevant procedures, training, and legislative requirements and document through a combination of methods. Did you know you have an obligation to perform health monitoring if you instruct or provide RPE as a PCBU? Only use RPE that you are fit test for and hold the relevant certificate identifying the test results. If a breach is identified not only you but your boss may be fined. Wear it or wear the fine.
