10.01.2022 To the people that have supported Haida Bar over the last 5 years it comes with great regret that we will no longer be trading as the Haida Bar ,as a result of lease issues and Ballarat city council issues. Also the landlord has failed to provide the essential safety measures for the building to keep trading as a nightclub. You may of noticed that in the past month or so other Venues have replicated our Haida trade mark in entertainment so that along with continuing pressure ...from the authorities we have decided not to continue with the Haida Bar Ballarat. It has been the most overwhelming experience for so many and I have enjoyed bringing you the place to party in Ballarat. Some of you would of met at Haida and now in relationships others will have great memories. To all management , staff, audio staff, dj's , security, promoters , thank your for your commitment to offer by far the best late night venue in Ballarat. It has not been at all easy to make this call but I wish you all the very best in the future and I say that because in many ways Haida became a family and a institution within many circles. I'd like to give a very special thank you to Kyle who supported me on so many fronts and become the face of Haida you have become a very special friend. So the curtain has fallen and the show is over. Take with you the good times I know I will. Love to the people Tony Henderson
