23.01.2022 Thank you all for your likes and comments during the month of October. It has been wonderful to see the spread of support in our community for fellow Territorians who just happen to have Down syndrome. Your support has been noticed by DSANT and we are so very appreciative for living here with so many people that care and have positive beliefs about the inclusion of everyone into our community.

16.01.2022 This week is National Recycling Week, encouraging us all to protect the environment by recycling where we can. Here in the Territory, our Container Deposit S...cheme (CDS) not only diverts litter from landfill, but creates jobs and enables our schools, community and sporting groups to raise much-needed funds, putting cash back into our economy. Over recent years it has been great to see organisations like Down Syndrome Association of the Northern Territory showcase their entrepreneurial spirit in making the most of these schemes. I am proud that a whopping 80% of all regulated containers sold in the NT during 2019-20 were disposed of through the CDS, paying out over $10 million to Territorians! With the Container Deposit Scheme now accessible from Nhulunbuy and East Arnhem to Darwin, Wadeye and Kintore, this initiative is delivering ongoing benefits across the Territory. Find out more about recycling your containers at https://ntepa.nt.gov.au/your-envir/container-deposit-scheme. Down Syndrome Association of the NT

12.01.2022 It's here! The 1st of October and as promised we can finally reveal our new project! We have long discussed about how we could provide a platform to not only sh...owcase kin T21 stories within the community but also advocate and empower them by sharing them with the world and hopefully educate many along the way. Come celebrate T21 with us is a collaborative blog in which anyone who has a T21 story about themselves or family members can submit their story to us then with a quick bit of common-sense vetting it will be posted on our blog. We will also be sharing 42 of the stories divided between our Facebook and Instagram pages during World Down Syndrome Awareness month(WDSAM) - October 2020 with encouragement to read more stories while they are there. While this project will begin as part of our WDSAM celebrations and be ongoing; allowing a place to raise your voice and share your stories. https://celebratet21withus.blogspot.com/ But first with any good celebration let's kick things off with a game!
