10.01.2022 Update: Takeaway is available - no longer. The South Australian government has stopped all wineries / cellar doors / and restaurants attached from offering takeaway options. Our understanding is this is a decision they've made in an attempt to protect SA's wine regions and discourage people from going into them and moving around within them. Which we absolutely understand and respect, although it's another hard hit being only two days in. Thank you to anyone who did eat from us while it lasted! There are still lots of wonderful restaurants offering takeaway for McLaren Vale / Willunga locals.

10.01.2022 We began dreaming up this project three months into our two years on the road. Tomorrow we open our little Source Of Love store. We will have a few products in our range - with the very first one being Nonna’s Sauce. Another drops next weekend.... Source Of Love is our way of creating an outflow from Down The Rabbit Hole, so we can use this place as an engine to give. 100% of the sale price of each bottle of sauce (and each Source Of Love product) will be donated to a charity we feel to give to. We have big plans for Source Of Love, and how it gives, to grow as we do. But for now, we are starting with a little store here on our land. We will also have a selection of beautiful bits and bobs from some of our favourite brands (think picnic rugs, hats, candles, glassware, picnic tables, blooms, books and much more to come...) With the other products we stock, a portion of the sale price will be donated. The store will be open weekends only. 100% of sales from Nonna’s Sauce will be donated to Feed the Little Children in The Kimberely. Through the store we will also be donating to Stars Foundation in the NT and Backpacks for Kids here in SA.

09.01.2022 Drum Roll... Our kitchen team continues to grow! We’re looking for a Sous-chef to join the Down The Rabbit Hole Restaurant team on a full time basis. Our kitchen is all about cooking great food with organic, wholesome, nutritious ingredients. We are looking for someone who has experience as a chef, the ability to execute direction from a head chef with care, who has great energy, and someone who gets a kick out of feeding people really good food, that’s good for them, and coo...ked with love. It is essential that you are able to work any section of the kitchen and have experience in all sections. The position is full time, includes weekends - with one night being a Friday night. Ideally we are looking for someone who lives locally to McLaren Vale. 07.01.2022 TOMORROW Our Cellar Door is open to all again and we are so looking forward to welcoming you back. For our first day back open, we’re doing a one time only 20% off all take home wine. The lowdown:... The forecast for our first week back open looks lovely and SUNNY - we'll have the fires crackling, the blossoms will be in their last week of bloom , and the tunes will be drifting as we, and our beautiful team, look after you. The wine tasting bus is open and ready Weekdays: We have booked lunches available, with an amazing menu (must book online for this), but as always - walk in visitors are also welcome. On weekdays walk in visitors will be able to do a wine tasting and enjoy an abundant platter if you’re after something to eat. Weekends - it’s operation as usual - no bookings, just come on down. We’ll look after you, whatever you’re after. SOURCE OF LOVE - our little store with a purpose, opens this Saturday It will be open every weekend.
