18.01.2022 Our little story 2018 we launched our small Mobile Diesel Maintenance business in Darwin Northern Territory, called Downtime Maintenance Solutions. Not really sure how big or busy our business would get due to major projects finishing, we jumped into the market and promised to offer great service and a affordable labour rate.... 2019 was a year that set the bar high for all mechanical workshops in Darwin. Focusing on specialising on the road transport sector found our business to excel forward. Employing staff and purchusing vehicles was our biggest step forward and scariest but rewarding none the less. 2020 due to business growth and expansion we decided it was time to open up a company. The reason we are able to become a Pty Ltd company is only due to our fantastic customers who keep the business going. We would like to thank all of our clients for "giving us a go" with out the loyalty and commitment we would not be in this position today. We also could not provide such services if we did not have a fantastic and highly experienced team of road transport mechanics, our team as a collective has over 60 years experience on high way vehicles and extensive dealership training with all of the major heavy vehicle brands. So a big thank you to our hard working field service mechanics Brad, Trent, Adam, Blake and Jordan. Debs flying to Maningrida to carry out some first aid training and Brad from Downtime Maintenance is flying to Elcho island to replace a shift controller on a Mack Titan. It's amazing the opportunities that have presented them selfs over the last 2 years. #smallbusinessgoingremote

11.01.2022 Just another day in the workshop

10.01.2022 One of the many interesting jobs we encounter at Downtime Maintenance. One of our customers bought there vehicle in due to erratic gear changes and loosing power, after trouble shooting fault we found that the gearbox selector assembly had failed. We specialise in Volvo trucks and have the equipment to diagnose and repair any fault. We can also offer OEM & Aftermarket Volvo parts, filter kits and Mobil oils.

09.01.2022 Today we carried out a C service and trailer service on this beauty of a truck. Our customer carts live seafood around the country and even though today was a public holiday in the territory our team is more than happy to come in and help keep our customers wheel turning.

06.01.2022 Last week we had the pleasure of having Andrew in for work experience. Some of the jobs Andrew was exposed to were vehicle servicing on Toyota land cruisers, replacing front springs on a T909 Kenworth, servicing fire pump engine and testing fire fighting equipment along with general workshop maintenance. It's safe to say he got his experience in during his week with us! He was flat out busy but stayed extremely motivated the whole time and didn't miss a beat. We've enjoyed having Andrew with us and hope to continue to have him as a part of our team.
