11.01.2022 ATO launches crackdown on people who took advantage of Coronavirus superannuation benefits who didn’t qualify may find themselves in hot water. Citizens and permanent residents financially impacted by coronavirus were able to access $10,000 of their super until June 30 and an additional $10,000 from July 1. According to the ATO; They must meet strict criteria to access the cash. This could include being unemployed, being made redundant or having working hours reduced by 20 p...er cent. Additionally; Australians who wrongly dipped into their superannuation during the coronavirus pandemic could face penalties of more than $12,000. While this is a very interesting article it does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure about your situation you should speak to your Accountant. https://www.msn.com//did-you-dip-into-your-su/ar-BB15QTxQ

07.01.2022 Coronavirus update: Further easing of restrictions, check out the hyperlink below. NSW will ease further restrictions from this Saturday, 13 June, with food courts allowed to reopen, the number of people allowed to visit homes increased from 5 to 20, and the number of people allowed to gather outdoors increased from 10 to 20. NSW has now gone two full weeks without detecting a single case of recent community transmission of COVID-19 - this is a testament to the hard work of ...the community, Mr Hazzard said. The cooperation of the public and business, and our high rates of testing, remain our greatest weapons to stamping out community transmission so it’s vital people continue to come forward. Food courts must have a COVID safe plan in place when they reopen on Saturday, this will include: - Abiding by the 4 square metre rule; - A maximum of 50 people per separate seated eating area; and - Enhanced hygiene and cleaning processes. 02.01.2022 NSW will temporarily shut its border with Victoria to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and jobs of NSW citizens. The closure will be effective from 12.01 am Wednesday, 8 July and follows the concerning spread of COVID-19 in Melbourne. Police will be using drones and officers on mountain bikes, amongst other actions, to enforce the new restrictions.... As always, stay safe; From team Doyle Legal. https://www.nsw.gov.au/media-/border-closure-to-protect-nsw
