24.01.2022 TROUBLE BURNING FAT?? Most people assume getting rid of fat is simply a matter of burning MORE fat. But in reality, burning fat is only ONE small part of the bigger... equation. There are actually 3 separate steps that must be in good working order for you to actually lose that unwanted fat once and for all at ANY age. Here they are. Step #1: Release "Trapped" Fat Fat cells can be REALLY greedy and will do anything they can to hold on to the fat that's stored inside them. Until that stored fat is released, it can't be burned for energy to make your waistline shrink. Unfortunately, when certain hormones are out of whack, your fat can literally get trapped -- locked inside your fat cells. However, that trapped fat CAN be coaxed out -- Step #2: TRANSPORT By naturally stimulating your thyroid hormones, which are essential for fat transportation, you can get your "stubborn" fat to the RIGHT spots so it can be burned off efficiently. Step #3: BURN Once you've released AND transported your greedy fat cells to the RIGHT spot there are little power plants called mitochondria that convert fat into energy. But here's the thing if those cellular power plants aren't burning hot enough, all that released fat can't be burned fast enough, so it can literally be "restored" as fat in another part of your body. 10.01.2022 Always remember this when you diet: weight loss and fat loss are two TOTALLY different things. Want to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time? Any monke...y can do that, and here are the inevitable results: 1. A lot of water loss 2. Substantial muscle loss 3. A tad bit of fat loss And oh yeah, a metabolism so beaten and battered that the moment you decide to return to any sort of normal eating regimen all your fast "weight loss" (and then some) piles back on even faster. 08.01.2022 There are many diet types out there which all have merits and certain ones will be more suitable over others for different individuals. However the one concept I cannot accept or recommend to anyone is fat free dieting. To me this just doesn't make sense from a health perspective, nor is it going to be productive long term from a body composition point of view. Fats are an "essential" nutrient to the body which means that the body quite simply cannot do certain things witho...ut them. Protein is also "essential" as where carbohydrates are "non-essential." (Although I DO like to utilise carbohydrates well with the majority of my members . . .) Fats are essential to your diet for the following reasons - 1. They facilitate the production of KEY hormones including testosterone. A diet starved of fat will inevitably lead to issues on this front, especially whilst in a calorie deficit. 2. They support cognitive function which isn't only essential to day to day productivity it's also key to focus in the gym and optimising performance. 3. They help protect key organs and joints which is of paramount importance for longevity and again supporting optimal performance. These are just 3 of MANY essential roles fats play within your body to help demonstrate WHY they need to be in there. The amount really depends on the overall composition of your diet, your goals, your age and body type. However some of my favourite sources of fatty foods are - 1. Almonds/almond butter 2. Brazil nuts 3. Walnuts 4. Avocados 5. Oily fish 6. Grass fed steak 7. Bison/buffalo 8. Organic eggs 9. Coconut oil 10. Flaxseeds I'm going into GREAT depth in the new programs that are coming into Fit Body Pro Membership on how this boils down to the basics steps so everyone get the ‘made for you’ plan. Make sure the steak IS Grass Fed and the eggs ARE organic as this increases the Omega 3 content which is crucial for optimised health, performance, hormone health and insulin sensitivity.

04.01.2022 'Losing weight' is not easy Start exercising like a mad man, hours of tedious long cardio sessions. Cut your eating right back, miss meals, zero carbs and feeling hungry all day.... My answer is NO!!! That is not how you do it. You will not burn fat, and get into the great body you want. And you certainly wont be able to sustain it, and feeling lackluster with zero energy is no way to live your life.
