21.01.2022 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT PLEASE Hi DPCC players, supporters, friends and friends of friends!! Our first offical catch up/event is tomorrow night and we need you ALL to join in & kick this season off with a BANG! Yes we know the footy is on but we are scheduling around to coincided with your viewing so we expect everyone that can to join in. A lot of hard work goes in behind the scenes to put any function together & this was no different. In a year where we will potentially have ...limited functions due to COVID we need the club to support functions like this to help us keep running and especially keep spirits up. A lot of our members out there are doing it tough either financially or mentally & in a lot of cases both. Our committee dedicates itself to this club, we meet regularly behind the scenes & try and support everyone so we need your support in return. Please jump online purchase a $10 ticket for your household and enjoy a virtual evening with fun & footy. We kept the price low as we are not trying to make money, instead we are putting it back into buying prizes from businesses that surround our club so we can give back to our local Frankston community and also give you guys something as well. Please join in and support us, we all love this club but it isn’t a club without its supporters or support of its events. The link to purchase your $10 household ticket is below & for those that have already purchased one thank you so much Tickets can be purchased up until late afternoon tomorrow but if possible please do so tonight so we know who to contact ASAP to send the link for the Zoom meeting. https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=660372& See more

16.01.2022 Vale Greg Sly It is with much sadness that we share the news of the passing of Greg Sly. Affectionately known as Hammer, Greg was a larger than life character and always the life of the party. He was a great supporter of the club and was a regular supporter of the players on game day. When you heard his famous catch cry GET INTO EM SUCKAS, you knew it was time to put your head down and dig in.... Greg was Vice-President during season 97-98 which was the year of the last 1st premiership. Greg was on the committee and a great help around the club during the 90’s. The club would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Carol, Kelly, Russell and family during this difficult time. You will be sorely missed around the club but never forgotten.

09.01.2022 Team Packo! Shane Thomson, Stuart Kranzbuhler, Steven Wilson. Shame we lost the semi, great season! Note Shane Simmons into the cans on the hill behind us!

03.01.2022 VALE - EDDIE GROSS. We have lost another great Delacombe man. Eddie (Beak) Gross was part of the furniture at Delacombe Park Cricket Club . He was involved in committees, coached the original Milo program where there were over 120 kids, held raffles, and drank plenty of beer (and the occasional Bundy), played and captained many games. He did play a couple of games in the 1s, but was huge on mateship in all grades. Ed boasted the best figures of 9/45 and made 126 as his highest score. Ed has been to a few of the recent past player’s days where we all enjoyed hearing the stories of the past in a way only Eddie could tell them. We will miss this man greatly and send our condolences to Dianne, Teagan, Kirsty, Jack and the extended family, including the grandkids that he adored. R.I.P. Ed
