24.01.2022 This Saturday is World First Aid Day, To promote the importance of first aid in saving lives and preventing injury. A common misconception among people is that it wont happen to me. The truth is, however, that thousands of Australians get injured and hospitalised every year due to unforeseen events. And the need for first aid does not discriminate regardless of age or gender, background or health status, accidents can happen anywhere and anytime, to any of us. Worryingly though, only one in four Australians is First Aid trained and confident to step up and apply their skills in an emergency. So lets step up & get First Aid Trained.
