16.01.2022 PDO THREADS Are essentially a kind of dissolvable suture that is placed under your skin with the aim of helping to support & create a mechanical lifting effect for sagging skin & tissue The threads aim to stimulate collagen as well as new blood vessels (neovascularisation) which together helps to improve Elasticity, Skin Texture & Fine Lines Some common areas of treatments are the Nasolabial Folds, Marionettes, Jowls & Jawline... Smaller (mono) PDO threads can be used purely for collagen stimulation rather than lifting The procedure is minimally invasive involving local anaesthetic to the areas where the threads are inserted. 09.01.2022 JAW CLENCHING & GRINDING Can be treated with Wrinkle Relaxer Neuromodulator Injections The main muscle involved is the MASSETER MUSCLE. If you bite down & hold, then place your fingers on your lower jaw you will likely be able to feel this muscle HOW DOES GRINDING CHANGE MY FACE? ... If you clench or grind your teeth, it's almost like going to the gym & lifting weights to build your muscles. The masseter muscle grows bigger & you can therefore see this more prominently like a fullness in your jaw or notice that your lower face has become more square or wider. HOW DO I KNOW IF I CLENCH OR GRIND?
