23.01.2022 #ObstetriciansAtPlay A call was made to all O&G doctors around Australia and New Zealand for a ‘RANZCOGs Got Talent’ competition. For those of us not professionally talented with dancing, singing or magic skills (the brief), we resorted to another talent. Somehow our entry took out first place!!! ... Enjoy this fun, with special thanks to Fiona & her gorgeous twins, my 11 year old for her videography skills, and my 14 year old for reminding me just how ‘daggy’ I am https://ranzcog.edu.au/news/got-talent-winners

16.01.2022 In exactly TWO months (10th December 2020), my daughters (Anika & Isabel) and I will have 'shaved our hair' for Cancer and joined the Worlds Greatest Shave family. I have always had long hair and so have my brave girls. Shaving our hair is a simple gesture to share our support for those family & friends we have had, and continue to have that suffer from Blood Cancers. ... Currently, 47 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer every day. My father-in-law is one of them. The Worlds Greatest Shave campaign aims to raise vital funds to support the growing number of Australians diagnosed with blood cancer including leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other related blood disorders (something I had earlier this year, but am now well). THANK YOU for sharing your support and see you in mid-December with no hair https://secure.leukaemiafoundation.org.au//FundraisingPage

13.01.2022 #A COVID19 2021 baby boom? Are we going to have a spike in births in 2021? I don’t think we know that yet, but we have certainly seen January and February 21 book out faster than most months Don’t forget to see a GP before planning a pregnancy. Your GP will be able to make sure you are maximizing your chance of pregnancy, as well as ensure you start your pregnancy with advice on folate, iodine, health eating, exercise advice, genetic screening and more.

08.01.2022 #BabyNames2020 The year is not yet over, but the interim 2020 most popular baby name list for Australia is just out.
