02.01.2022 There is no better news than hearing you have beaten breast cancer. As all breast cancer survivors know, treating cancer is a difficult process and unfortunately the majority of survivors go on to develop symptoms of severe vaginal atrophy. This can severely affect quality of life by causing debilitating urinary symptoms and inability to enjoy intimacy due to pain. Dr Ljiljana is the only gynaecologist in Newcastle who performs the MonoLisa Touch Laser treatment. This is a s...afe, non-hormonal, non-invasive treatment that has improved the quality of life for millions of breast cancer survivors world wide. Visit our website to learn more: https://drljiljanamp.com.au/monalisa-touch-newcastle/ Most breast cancer survivors have tumors that are hormone sensitive. Other treatment options that are commonly discussed include: - Lubrication and rehydration treatments: This is the most common approach, but unfortunately these treatments have limited effectiveness on their own. - Topical estrogens: There is a lack of data on their safety in cases where tumors are hormone sensitive. Give us a call on 02 4957 2743 to book your consultation with Dr Ljiljana to see if the MonoLisa Touch Laser is appropriate for you.
