17.01.2022 This gorgeous patient had an interesting problem - congenital #torticollis She had shortening & thickening of one of the muscles in the left side of her neck. Not only is this thickening visible, but it resulted in her tilting her head toward her left shoulder & having limited movement of her neck. She had trialled physiotherapy & ultimately underwent surgery. This patient’s postoperative photo, taken just 1week following surgery, clearly shows a visible difference in the le...ft side of her neck. What is doesn’t show is her immediate improvement in neck range of motion & her sense of relief. 11.01.2022 This patient had a lesion from her right arm biopsied & the result revealed an early #melanoma . The following week, I performed a wider removal under local anaesthetic in the rooms. She is now melanoma free. Melanoma doesn’t have to be scary, but it does need to be treated. 11.01.2022 A very busy weekend of trauma cases with this amazing woman, Dr Olivia Perotti. Dr Perotti is an accredited Plastic Surgical Registrar & mother of a gorgeous 6 month old girl. To the untrained eye, this a photo of two females operating together - something that wasn’t very common not so long ago. What is truly remarkable, however, is that Dr Perotti is actually expressing milk whilst operating!!...
