24.01.2022 Dark circles under the eyes are caused from thinning skin, visible blood vessels, loss of orbital fat, skin pigmentation or changes in orbital muscle. This may be related to sleep deprivation, diet, hydration, sun exposure, age or genetics. Treatments include more sleep, fluids, cold packs, vit E, C, K and retinols, constrictor creams, laser,fat grafts or eyelid reduction surgery. Be careful there is no magic sure.

23.01.2022 An experimental procedure has raised hopes of being a new way to decrease fatty deposits under the skin by applying cold temperatures.The procedure, cryolipolysis, is awaiting approval in the USA . Cryolipolysis takes advantage of the differential in fats susceptibility to the cold. The results were not comparable to liposuction, and are not a weight-loss device, but hold potential in the treatment.

Dont smoke smoking deprives skin of oxygen and encourages wrinkling 3. Cleanse gently and properly. Avoid hot water because it eats away natural lipids 4. Drink water, moisturize properly, eat well and sleep well. 5.Eat healthy foods avoiding processed sugars encourages new skin formation

14.01.2022 Ingrown hairs can turn into deep cysts and even require surgery to remove. For patients who frequently suffer from painful ingrown hairs, I recommend using a hair removal laser or IPL . We can target the pigment in the hair follicle and destroy the hair follicle base. Usually two or three 10 minute treatments will permanently eradicate up to 60 per cent or more of hair follicles.

07.01.2022 Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative and winter is a great time to talk about this medication. It reverses ageing of the skin and lightens facial brown spots and eliminates fine wrinkles with continued use. It causes the skin to shed harmful cells and replace them with stable cleaner cells. It must be used with a sunblock and a moisture skin care package. Side effects include sun sensitivity, redness and dry skin.

04.01.2022 Never let anyone inject liquid silicone into you and be very careful about permanent filler injections that may become infected and lumpy. I spend alot of time correcting these problems from elsewhere. In my opinion only products that wear off or dissolve completely are safe to inject for wrinkles. The other option is microfat grafts harvested from your body as your own personal filler for lips. Research carefully.

02.01.2022 Beware the fish lips. I consulted a patient today injected elsewhere with dermal filler. Instead of augmenting the red vermillion lip the clinic had placed far too much filler into the upper lip making her look like a fish! This patient was very unhappy.Luckily these poor results can be fixed with a reversing agent. A measured, carefully planned lip augmentation will be performed at Rejuvenation Therapies later.
