24.01.2022 `DRAGON UPDATE WA has had some amazing results with COVID 19 cases, and there are no confirmed cases in the great southern region. Which is great news and has lead to a relaxed change in the rules of restrictions. As of Monday 27th we are able to run classes in groups of 10 people with social distancing. Although we cannot get complacent with everything, this is great news.... This week we will continue with the private classes, which are booked. Next week we intend to open normal class timetable. However it will be book in by appointment only, up to 8 students, doing social distancing classes still, i.e. No physical contact. We do encourage parents to drop off students only or wait in there cars during the sessions, only to enter if necessary to pay fees, renewals etc, this way we can keep numbers in compliance with the 10 people rule. Again do not just rock up for classes, it MUST BE BOOKED IN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Once a class is full booked no more students will be able to book in for that time slot. SPARRING CLASSES Will focus on fitness, Kick drills, Step work But no physical contact. (No sparring) NORMAL CLASSES Will include fitness, Patterns, Syllabus kick drills and hand techniques Ghost training for one step.

22.01.2022 We really appreciate all the support weve been getting from our dragon family, during these unsure and difficult times. As a side note, we do encourage students to keep paying their monthly fee, to help the school survive these hard times. We will continue to send out invoices and students that have paid their monthly fees, this time will be owed as a credit to you on return to normal classes, however if you are facing financial difficulty please contact us, of course we understand this is a hard time for everyone. 21.01.2022 Due to new government restrictions put in place for COVID 19 regarding social distancing, it is with great sadness that we will be closing group sessions effective immediately until further notice. This is a hard time for everyone, and we appreciate your continued support. We are in the process of clarifying rules regarding private lessons or small group lessons in compliance with the 4 meter social distancing rules. If we are permitted to do this We will be booking studen...ts in for social distancing classes. Friday Grading will be cancelled, however we will be conducting private gradings for students that are ready. The may Black belt exam will have to be cancelled and postponed till October at this stage. With students that have paid yearly upfront fees, this time will be owed to you as we normally do. We encourage students paying monthly to continue payments were possible, again this time will be owed to you. We thank you all for your support and will endeavor to keep the Dragon martial Arts business alive over this difficult time. See more

12.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone As we say goodbye to 2020, we reflect on the year that was .......a hard year for all. COVID 19 closures hit Dragon and its membership hard, however though being proactive organizing private one on one classes with social distancing, and the support from all of you, we survived. March grading was all done privately with social distancing which was interesting and quite funny with ghost one step and grabs. We could only do 9 gup belt gradings and 1 b...lack belt Graduation. No tournaments. The Christmas windup was a huge finish to the year, with 140 in attendance. Fun and game, flying side kick competition, and awards for best and most improved students of the year. 03.01.2022 With the on set of the coronavirus pandemic, and the threat on social distancing, which could affect the survival of Dragon as a business. We would like to reassure members that we are implementing some changes to sanitization and classes. We urge members to bring their own water bottles for personal hygiene, we are Providing disposable cups and antibiotics hand wash. Classes will run as normal, however their will be a change in training drills, less partner drills, no wrestling, more focus on line work and patterns. With respect if you are showing cold or flu symptoms please stay away from the gym. Thank you

03.01.2022 Hi guys! As you know this year is quickly coming to an end! It's been a difficult year for many but we all stuck together, stayed strong, and got through the craziness that has been 2020. We want to thank all of our students for their patience, support and dedication through the start of this year and COVID 19 pandemic; we are truly lucky to have you all in our dragon family. ... We have our last day for the year 2020 on Friday the 18th of December, this will be our end of year wind up, no normal classes but fun and games for the kids from 4pm including dodge ball, pass the parcel and flying side kick competition! This year we are asking students who want to enter the flying sidekick comp to please fill out a red entry form before the 18th so we can organize those divisions before the day. Forms are on the counter. If you haven't filled a form in before the 18th you unfortunately will not be able to enter. And of course most important, the awards for best and most improved students of the year starting around 5pm. All students that made it onto the nomination list do need to be here at 5pm latest and in white uniform for the awards, however you can bring a change of clothes. As the 18th will be out last day, we ask that all December monthly fees for the 5th and the 20th are taken care of before this date. Thank you all for such an amazing year!

03.01.2022 The new directive from Government of Western Australia and the Department of Health, regarding COVID 19, came into effect as of Saturday 5th December. All staff and patrons must register in our premise. If you have the safe WA App on your phone you can scan the QR code on entry. If not we will have a contact register form on counter. This must be filled out with name, phone number, arrival time and date. Our computer program does recond student attendance, so it's not necessary for students, just parents and visitors. With the Boarders open this is good to keep WA safe. Thank you
