24.01.2022 Sad update. Today I got the news I was dreading. Dragon Paradise Chinese Restaurant will be closing permanently in the current dwelling. ... I am restricted as to what I can say, but I fought hard for a better outcome than this. We are currently in negotiations for another possible location (in Kincumber) so I will absolutely keep you updated. I wanted you to hear this news from me as soon it will become public knowledge. I am constantly told by people in the shop n go & the bakery that customers are asking about me & wondering if I am ok, thank you first & foremost for caring. I am ok. I just hope that I can get an answer for you once and for all as to the future of the restaurant. The restaurant was successfully run by William for over 30 years. I would just like to say on behalf of William - thank you. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for becoming part of our family. Personally, I have worked here for half my life. I will forever cherish memories within these walls. On behalf of my beautiful Dragon Paradise family, It’s not over yet & we’ll be in touch soon. Today was a sad day for Laycie & I - for our final visit to pick up the fish. Lyndsay xx

Ive been in & out of the restaurant- feeding the fish, collecting cards left under the door (thank you!!) & preparing for whats next. Hang in there guys. Hopefully theres a better update coming. ... 19.01.2022 Thanks for the memories Shop 2 As you have probably heard by now, we were unsuccessful in keeping the restaurant in its current location. The shop next door will start their expansions soon. I am so incredibly sad. ... There are still negotiations to open the restaurant in the same complex, but nothing has been confirmed. 16.01.2022 Hi to everyone still trying to contact the Restaurant. During the week I spoke to Telstra about getting the call diversion taken off my mobile phone as Im headed overseas. This has still not happened, and I have changed my voicemail back to my private voicemail, so whats happening now is Im getting about 200 calls on a weekend night because people think theyve got the wrong number and keep trying. ... I tried answering calls but people didnt understand what was happening and I was getting abused, (not their fault). Im sorry, this must be so frustrating for you all. Thank you to those who have left me a voicemail. We are still waiting on an outcome. As soon as I know, you will too! Lyndsay xx

13.01.2022 It is with broken hearts that we tell you that our William passed away suddenly on Sunday. William is the much loved owner of The Dragon Paradise. He is a legend in the Kincumber and surrounding areas. ... We will all miss him enormously. He was our family. Williams funeral service will be this coming Saturday at Palmdale starting at 11am. Please if youre coming - wear some colour. I feel like we were always in black at work, and his life needs to be celebrated. I know its only natural for people to ask about the restaurant, but we all need to grieve before any decisions are made. We will always love you William. Xx

05.01.2022 Last night at work I was abused like Ive never been abused before. Merely because I told a customer that I would wait until she finishes on her mobile phone before I serve her. Some how I am the rude b****?! It is absolutely disrespectful to any person in the service industry when you talk on your mobile phone at the counter. ... Put your phones down.
