24.01.2022 This logo really hit the mark with my client. Guided by his sketch I have created this identity for DRIFT STATION 4. It may look like a photo but lo and behold its a totally scalable vector logo, yep - made from paths not pixels. Unlike a pixel based image - vector logos can be infinitely enlarged without losing any resolution.

24.01.2022 I really enjoyed working on this Film Poster for UNDERMINED, Tales from the Kimberley, it was well received with this feedback via email ... "Great poster, Janny. The filmmakers love it!"

22.01.2022 hot off the press ... a half page ad for Longview Farm - a destination wedding venue like no other! The brief was to create a visually enticing ad that showcased the property and all its wonderful attributes to the LGBT community. Client was delighted with the end result. You can see this ad in the newly launched Equally Wed magazine.

21.01.2022 So Ive come full circle, back to designing medallions. You may not know this, but my very first full-time artist position was with a souvenir company, back in the late 1980s. My specialty was designing the club badges and medals (no plastic cards back then). So it was with delight that I took up this challenge to design a special gold medal for Order of The Laneway, a cheeky take on our very own Order of Australia. These medals were presented to a jovial bunch of recipients on our Queens Bday holiday, see the invite next post along.

19.01.2022 CASE STUDY. Bavarian Bakehouse. Tucked away in suburbia, the aim of this flyer is to convert the local residents into BB regulars, let people know they are here, and most importantly - that they now sell COFFEE ... good move! Response has been strong. An ongoing marketing campaign with a focus on increasing the local customer base, this is the 4th flyer I have produced for BB this year.

17.01.2022 Longview farm party branding was really well received this year. Both t-shirts and caps were eagerly snapped up by the many festival goers. The program got lots of compliments too, cool stuff, I love doing the Longview artwork.

12.01.2022 After 10 yrs of the same look and the theft of the old banner - it was high time for a rebranding of the Leichhardt Public School Fete. LPS is well over 150 yrs old, so I made a feature of the old trees in the school yard and the wrought iron fence. With the LPS yellow and navy as the main colours, combined with crisp vector graphics, this look can be easily adapted and rescaled to create all fete collateral.
