24.01.2022 Any salt or product that you’re consuming that has salt in it ‘could’ have these plastics in it too. Eliminating our use of plastics is essential for the health of our environment, wildlife & ourselves. Our fast, throw-away way of living is threatening everything in ways we haven’t even considered yet. ... Become an aware consumer & act now for our future.

22.01.2022 Plant powered pharmacy! And as long as it’s grown using organic (& preferably permaculture practices) then all the nutrients we need will be in abundance.

22.01.2022 Bees, & their cute little bums, are needed for a well-balanced ecosystem. So, do them & us a good service & grow a range of plants that flower throughout the year so their food supply is uninterrupted. Oh, and take a gander at these little booties to brighten your day. ... See more

22.01.2022 Changing our thinking about ALL our actions, from what we buy, why we really are buying it, and what really happens to it when its lifetime is up, is paramount to the health & wellbeing of ourselves, other humans, the planet & all non-human inhabitants. Learning permaculture is a positive, enlightening & proactive way towards this way of thinking, and therefore action. Learning permaculture in conjunction with vegan philosophy is taking it all to the next level.

21.01.2022 Most land clearing in Australia is for livestock & we rank right up there with the worst countries for deforestation. If you are concerned about the environment, climate, native wildlife & their habitat, or the increased number of farmed animals & the destruction & cruelty surrounding their exploitation, then this is a must read. Education & awareness are key to stopping this madness. ... An excerpt from the article... And the state with the highest rate of land clearing is Queensland. In that state, in 2015-16, about 395,000 hectares of native vegetation were cleared. That can be hard to visualise, but it's an area roughly the size of Sydney or Melbourne. It's the equivalent of 1,500 football fields cleared per day. "In Queensland alone it's estimated 45 million animals were killed in 2015-16 because of bulldozing of forests - everything from geckos to cockatoos," Dr Taylor said.

19.01.2022 Did you know that over 90% of all bee species are solitary? And that most females like to build their nests near other females. Do your part by creating a mini apartment or massive metropolitan style apartment to assist these invaluable insects. You can create these insect hotels in the middle of suburbia or out in the country.

15.01.2022 The value of trees is immeasurable!

14.01.2022 The toxic chemical (found in Roundup and 700 other herbicides) known as Glyphosate is a Class 2A probable human carcinogen. Tests are showing that it is turning up in all sorts of places that have not been directly sprayed, from: standard and organic wines, pure German beers, blood and urine, breast milk, and water, etc. If you haven't previously been alarmed by this chemical and its overuse, you definitely need to read this, amongst other research, and discover why it ne...eds to be globally banned. Did you know that a lot of farmers in Australia that use glyphosate will not consume their own product because they know how bad it is? Some have their own glyphosate-free gardens for their family's personal use. Become aware and don't use this chemical, try to buy certified organic produce, or better yet, grow most of your own organic produce.

13.01.2022 A great community concept for young children to learn, socialise and explore their environment and themselves.

13.01.2022 And this is one of the reasons I'm so obsessed with dragonflies... they are sooooo amazing!

11.01.2022 We need to reduce our use of trees for things that can easily be replaced by hemp. Hemp is a quick growing plant that is multifunctional and much better for our environment. Did you know that hemp was originally vilified by the up-and-coming plastics industry and the pharmaceutical industry because they wanted more of the consumer market?

09.01.2022 While many bee keepers blame neonicotinoids, or neonics. for colony collapse of bees and many countries in EU have banned neonicotinoid class of pesticides, the US Department of Agriculture fails to ban insecticides known as neonicotinoids, manufactured by Bayer CropScience Inc. Bees are vital for food security and we need to fight against the use of pesticides which cause them and of course other insects so much harm. We need to adopt natural farming & gardening metho...ds that are working in harmony with nature and not against it. Using Permaculture principles & design we can securely grow clean, healthy food that enhances our wellbeing as well as the planet’s.

07.01.2022 These workshops are going to be fantastic. Get in quick before spots are filled.

07.01.2022 Other than the use of the animals as food, this is a beautiful, peaceful & empowering way to bring security, dignity & purpose to people in need. Love it.

06.01.2022 Pollinators are extremely important for our food security and we need them. Here are some great tips to help them out.

05.01.2022 Now this is something I could cosy up on to read away the afternoon or gaze outside at the wonders of nature.

04.01.2022 Farmers making the shift! Clean, cruelty-free food is the future and farmers can transition over, especially if they have a diversity of plant crops, and even more beneficial if they use vegan permaculture principles and practises.

03.01.2022 Another good reason to grow & eat avocados

02.01.2022 This would be a great idea for Australia... obviously our government (federal, state & local) would need to ensure roadways were suitable for more people to cycle safely!

01.01.2022 Changing the way we use energy, including timing of usage, and increasing (preferably to 100%) renewables will make massive changes for the environment as well as our own health and wellbeing.
