24.01.2022 Are you a business owner or know someone that is? Then get following this page for weekly business, tax, finance and performance analysis tips! Starting from next Wednesday there will be some juicy topics dropping
20.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 2 - AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTIONS: Many businesses sign up for various softwares and programs and put them on a monthly direct debit plan! As your business grows you sometimes no longer require them and forget to cancel as you struggle to notice it each month! It’s important every month or two you go through and check what you are paying for and see if it’s needed!
20.01.2022 It is comments like this that make me appreciate the work I do and clients I get to work with! "Engaging Stathi and his services was the single best thing I've done on the accounting side of things. The benefit for me is that I didn't have to spend countless number of hours trying to fix an issue, when Stathi would know what to look for and rectify the issue. Stathi's professionalism and his ability I have not questioned at all. If he can manage the accounts and books at a multimillion dollar business single handedly, I had no reservation to hand over mine to him. I had a few issues that arose within my business, despite me trying my best to fix the issues I knew It was time to call Stathi engage is services and get the problems fixed in a timely manner." - Steven Grevis, One Two Shoot Media

Owner Jarrod Irwin started the company 6 years ago and in the last 3 years since operating on a full-time basis has seen huge growth in his business. Over the next 12 months we are looking forward to working closely with Jarrod to help further grow his client base, expand his team and be the leader in NQ for all things air-cons and refrigeration!
18.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 7 - ECOMMERCE CUSTOMER SERVICE: One of the most key aspects to the success of your business is your customers! In the ecommerce space there can be the tendency for businesses to neglect the importance of customer service as there is no face-to-face contact. In fact you should be doubling down on this and constantly be finding ways to improve overall customer satisfaction. Look at rewarding your loyal customers by offering special discounts, incentives or early release of new products. Always be open to negative feedback from your customers and encourage it as a way to learn and further develop your customer service skills!
18.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 5 - DATA: Running an ecommerce business gives you access to a large array of data. Make sure you are constantly monitoring that information and analysing it to better your overall business performance. Look at parameters such as website views, paid social advertising sale conversion rates, geographical region of website traffic & average order value to name a few. Data is powerful!
15.01.2022 Weekly Tip 3 - ASSET WRITE OFF: When someone says an asset you purchase is 100% deductible that is correct, however it doesn’t mean you get that full amount back. The expense is an offset against your income to reduce the profit and you are only getting back the tax on that asset. Also don’t forgot the instant asset write-off for a small business has been increased to $30k for the 2020 financial year!
13.01.2022 Lisa has been one of my clients from the start and it has been amazing to see her and LPPT grow over that time. I asked her for a quick review of the last 5-6 months of having me onboard and I couldn’t be anymore honoured by her comments! I love working with similar driven and passionate young people in business and Lisa is exactly that! So excited to see what 2020 brings for LPPT and Lisa and I know she will continue to kill it!

10.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 6 - RETURNING VS. NEW CUSTOMERS: Some companies can spend too much money (Customer Acquisition Cost) and time on trying to acquire new customers rather then focusing on retaining (Retention Cost) their current customers. Within most well established businesses if you were to analyse your sales data you will not be surprised to find that on average more then half of your sales can come from recurring customers. For young starts up this can vary but the same principle applies during the first few years of the business operating. If you are in the ecommerce space then these customers are already part of your sales funnel database and therefore are easier and cheaper to convert into a sale. Don’t neglect these people and make sure you are constantly finding ways to better service them.
10.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 4 - STEPPING BACK: When you start a business you try to play many roles and although that saves you money, it can actually be a detriment to the growth of your business. For your business to grow you need to take a step back from certain tasks and start bringing in skilled professionals or outsource. Although in the short term it may have an affect on cashflow, you will reap the benefits in the long term if you are willing to be patient. This gives you the ability to see the business from a clear perspective and potentially identify any issues that may be occurring or find new avenues that haven’t been explored.
04.01.2022 WEEKLY TIP 1 - CASH FLOW: Trying to grow your business and don’t know when to make that push and expand...then you need to analyse your cash flow and forecast! Many successful companies see crazy growth in the first 2-3 years and then struggle with making the next step up! Ensure you are monitoring your cash flow on a weekly basis and forecast your figures for the next month, quarter, year or even 3 years depending on the size of your company! Knowing your businesses financial timeline is the only way you will be able to push your company to the next level!
