11.01.2022 DRAMA TEACHER FRIENDS SCSA has released the 2020 marking guide for practical exams. Here are the changes listed for you. OSP 1. One additional mark has been allocated to role/character, now out of 5.... 2. Two additional marks have been allocated to elements of drama, now out of 6. 3. Design and technologies allocated one extra mark, now out of 4 4. Dramatic Conventions has been removed entirely from the marking guide of OSP. 5. OSP now has a possible 31 marks total Scripted 1. One additional mark has been allocated to role/character, now out of 5. 2. Two additional marks have been allocated to elements of drama, now out of 6. 3. Dramatic Conventions has been removed entirely from the marking guide of Scripted Monologue. Improvisation 1. Dramatic journey/structure has been included and is allocated 4 marks 2, Elements and conventions of drama has been removed from the Improvisation marking guide. 03.01.2022 Outline how you will use an improvisation rehearsal process to prepare your character’s voice for each set text. This was a question in the 2018 WACE written drama exam. If you would like to provide your students with a sophisticated, theoretical approach to voice come along to this PD. Presented by two NIDA voice lecturers who are flying over to Perth specifically for this PD. There will be both practical vocal exercises and vocal practitioner theories discussed.
