23.01.2022 How to control changes in your health I’ve been there, seen it, heard it and lived it. You want to make a change like what to put in your mouth instead of mars bars, you want to get those summer abs but feel unmotivated and just happen to skip the scheduled class you signed up for oopsy! Well changes don’t come just like that on a whim! ... They start and gain momentum with preparation and understanding your blueprint, your locus if control, getting real about what you perceive you can do. This is the theory of planned behaviour. 1. What’s your attitude towards your goal? I’m gonna do this or I can’t get there it’s too hard 2. Intention- why do you want to do it and what are you intending to get out of the desired outcome Subjective norms - what do you believe someone important to you would agree? Social norm - is this normal to do in society? Perceived power - can you do this Perceived behavioural control - is it going to be easy or difficult to not buy chocolate when I’m at the petrol station All of these factors affect our health behaviour changes So next time you decide I’m gonna get super fit and before Christmas, think how can I set myself up for success? 21.01.2022 Weirdly after all my years in the medical industry im seeing the flaws become so visible and transparent that people are slowly slowly starting to realise this can’t go on any longer . The generous amount of excellent studies on nutrition like Ornish, look ahead, studies and the constant bombardement in shops, tv and magazines that are constantly contradicting, confusing or simple lies about the real effects of the food we eat! High blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, o...besity, stroke, heart attacks and some mental health issues are all preventable The food industry has huge amounts of money behind them and i sadly see the effects consistently having grave consequences. We are now witnessing rushed science in vaccines and a race for the big pharmas to get the deals! In summary think a little before you put anything past your mouth, listen in your ears, read and digest, and lastly what you arent quite sure of the consequences of!

18.01.2022 Morning mirror work I’ve been contemplating allot recently about life. This has been catalysed by the current political events and feeling concerned over safety in health, financial and society at large I started to really stir yesterday and remembered that in these times we have to look at our locus of control. ... Where do I sit with values, beliefs. I started doing mirror work again and it’s confronting but eye opening literally I get up naked Sit in front of a large mirror And stare at myself All of my body And a wave of discussion flows through and I just allow it with no judgement I see fat I see suppressed I see frustration I see anger I see sadness I see concern for humanity I see vulnerability I see little Amy I see heaps of love I see loyalty I see determination I see surrender I then journaled this and thought share because sometimes people forget on insta that your human Imperfect Aren’t always happy And you too go through peaks and troughs If your an empath you feel and take on everyone’s stuff even things going on in the government All I can say is I have a deep belief everything even in low moments is here to teach us Today I learnt that I will honour all feelings I have like anger frustration sadness and never be afraid to express them in a safe container These emotions are normal and you too need to know that See more



17.01.2022 JOY!! Ever felt like your stuck in a rut? Living to just simply survive? Realising you have little joy in your life? ... Yup it’s pretty dam common! Your not alone! Our lives go on auto pilot and we have a heap of decisions we make everyday! Should I go to the gym? Should I respond to that text? Should I speak my opinion? What shall I cook? We make choices everyday! Habits become the choices we make and habits then go on autopilot! Everyday we have the opportunity to choose joy! But how often do we think of it like that? Deciding to eat healthy Deciding to exercise Cuddling up to our loved ones Laughing with our friends Giving ourselves permission to say no Connecting to our inner voice We don’t recognise that we can actually choose JOY! Yet We can!! # choose to recognise it choose to feel it choose to be in its presence! When you choose joy! Joy becomes a habit! A habit becomes our norm And suddenly love is our reflex! ALLOSTASIS I’ve been studying stress for the last 15 years and one thing I know for sure is that stress is experienced in multiple ways and yet some perceive it more than others! ... Right now stress or Allostatic load - is the appropriate medical term, has reached an all time peak, and yet how it manifests to some looks very different on others! Analogy- It’s literally like a dress Some can look well presented ie calm and professional and others it’s too big and is creased, ie you let your stress all out in frustration anger sadness. So far we’ve seen lower levels of vitamin d associated with susceptibility to SARS-Cov-2 infection and severity However once people present they are likely to already be in a hyper inflammatory stage so it could be too late for the antiviral effects of vitamin d to take effect. ... This is exactly why preventative medicine is extremely important! They propose a population based trial investigating the prophylactic use of vitamin d now to see if it reduces the severity and extent to which people are symptomatic or does not result in hospitalisation. They say there’s nothing to loose and potentially everything to gain by prophylactic vitamin d from 400-800 IU a day. 10.01.2022 I’ve been quiet for a while because I’ve been feeling the heaviness of the world! The reactions people have had during this virus has really made me realise that my passions are really important to me and that I wasn’t made for simply working to create a roof over my head! And I don’t think you are too! So we’re looking for a home to grow a sanctuary of peace and health. A place I can create, evolve and engage with other humans and of course animals! And I think possibly we... have found it! This was our sign! Right at the back door! It reminded me when I first got to Australia 8 years ago and thinking how wild and beautiful nature was here! I was in complete awe in a retreat with my parents feeding wild kangaroos So now I think it’s our time to create this! Ahhhhhhh Watch this space!

09.01.2022 FOOD SECURITY Have you heard of food security? Food security means having physical availability to nutritious food and the resources and opportunity to gain access to It. Australia has always been a secure nation but since the pandemic i have been deeply concerned with rural and remote australia and what would occur if lockdowns were to continue. ... What foods could you eat? How available would it be? For me it’s always been plant rich essentially a vegan diet but I’ve been forced to review what can I grow and have on the land so that we have a sustainable organic source that is abundant in supply. Food insecurity in Australia ranges from 4-14% and in remote areas up to 83% That’s at its minimum 1 million Australians! For us as a family we have decided to buy land so we can create our own food security with a biodynamic farm and essentially everything we love to eat - veggies and fruit! We have decided we will not kill any animals but We are happy to have chicks that can naturally lay their eggs when they decide! Welcome dusty to the family please! So many times we sway away from our desires or wishes because we are often to concerned about what others think, others will say, how we will be judged, if we can afford to do as we want, if we will be safe making certain decisions!
