22.01.2022 Some months ago someone told me that this quote helped them let go of interactions gone wrong. I loved it and noted it down in my phone right away. Rumination is a mode of thinking that makes it difficult to 'let go' of past events and experiences... It's the act of repetitively dwelling and going over your struggles. It's an unhelpful form of problem-solving that causes you to cycle through your worries in a never-ending loop... It leaves you feeling more anxious, down..., and sleep-deprived ... No matter how embarrassing it felt, how big the mistake was, and how much you wish you could take it back, just remember that people forget. What they will remember years later are the positive feelings - the laughter, empathy, validation, kindness, love and compassion they experienced in your presence. #selfesteem #selfcaretips #rumination #depressionhelp #anxiety #selflove #shame #selfcompassion

21.01.2022 Having just returned from a few days away down the coast, I am feeling very appreciative that I was able to enjoy nature with loved ones visiting from interstate in this beautiful weather With the change in season, my work hours are also changing The new times offer a mixture of daytime and out of office/after school appointments as well as options for telehealth.... Please get in touch with the lovely Sarah to arrange a booking - phone 1300 392 548 and remember to prebook for after school and evening times!

18.01.2022 Enquiries to my service have quadrupled in the past few months since Sydney came out of lockdown.. And many of my colleagues are reporting the same... Psychology practices are receiving more phone calls than ever from distressed Australians needing help in the wake of this stressful year. Very pleased the government are listening to the needs of Australians and improving access to therapy by doubling the number of Medicare Psychology sessions from 10 to 20 sessions ... ... For many clients, reaching therapy goals within 10 sessions is not realistic or feasible ... The change to 20 sessions will bring great relief to many ..

12.01.2022 I meet people struggling in different ways every day, learning from each of them..... One of my biggest learnings about recovering from grief and suffering is that to move forward it is crucial to: -Accept that life is sometimes unfair... -Silence your critical voice and continue to see your value as a person, and; -Remind yourself that not only can you get through it, but you can grow from your suffering..

04.01.2022 My dear nieces worked for 3 weeks on these beautiful pictures with intricate details for the clinic! I love
