We’re firing on three fronts from 12-3pm and 4-9pm: walk-in takeaway, online pick up via Mobi2Go (psssst you can pre-order) and Uber Eats stay cozy under your blanket and get Nashville hot chicken straight to you. 05.01.2022 THE NEWS YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR We are opening this Saturday 9 January! For real. The wait is over friends and hot chicken enthusiasts. We’ve got five heat levels from Southern (no heat) to Blame Drasko (extra hot) plus an off-menu triple hot ‘Bastard Chilli’ that you have to sign a waiver for to eat. Yes, it’s that hot! No, we are not kidding. ... Gluten-free folks rejoice! We have a GF version of Drasko’s hero Signature Sando burger with a gluten-free bun from the legends at Monsterella using their famous pizza dough. Full menu is live on our website. Doors open from 12pm at The Mezz, 148 Scarborough Beach Road in Mount Hawthorn. Find us on the corner of Flinders Street. We are walk in only and BYO. Told you 2021 would be a cracker.

02.01.2022 THE STORY BEHIND THE HAT Last year I embarked on a hot chicken research trip to LA and Nashville with the sister. This hat was fitted by a legit cowboy on our first day in Nashville and I wore it everytime I ate hot chicken. The brim contains all the heat, spices and tears (rivers of them) from every hot chicken encounter from Howlin' Ray's to Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish to the OG Prince's Hot Chicken and many others in between.
