24.01.2022 art366 day 39: Been a while since I've had a chance to put up some art, but I'm back at it ^_^ Enjoy!

21.01.2022 Just a little bit of Tuesday morning motivation #passiontoreality

20.01.2022 On this day exactly a year ago, I set myself a highly ambitious goal in attempting to post of a picture of my art for each day in 2016. I called this challenge #art366 (because it was a leap year, thanks for that reminder @ktdezilva ) and was quite confident at the time that I could do it. Safe to say that I only managed to keep up this challenge for a mere 39 days before I realised the gap between the days posted and days unposted was far too great to close loll! I defini...tely lost a bit of motivation there, and realised that my goal was slightly too ambitious given that there would be plenty of days when I would not get an opportunity to post anything at all (eg. being in Sri Lanka or even rural Victoria where chances of finding a solid internet connection are about as slim as seeing a trailer for Lion King 4) The real purpose for my art challenge was mainly to encourage me to do what I have always loved doing since I was a kid, and that is drawing. It's something I really ought to do more of, and although I'm not planning on doing another #art365 challenge for 2017, I am still glad that I attempted the challenge somewhat in 2016, as it has paid off in unexpected ways, such as being selected for an international art show. 2016 has been an interesting year. The amount of successes I've had are about the same as the amount of failures I've experienced too, so it hasn't been a spectacular year nor has it been a disaster either. Here's hoping that 2017 will be a year where I do more of what I love, and continue to move forward in the direction of my goals and dreams #essayover
