21.01.2022 Folx, Queer Christmas is coming!! This Feast Festival Draw your (S)words is bringing you something special to celebrate inclusivity and diversity within the community. DYS is an inclusive and supportive spoken word event that welcomes you to come along and share your stories. If you are an avid spoken word fan, you are welcome to sit back, relax and absorb the poetry. The Well of Words pays respect to John Radclyffe Hall, who identified as a proud lesbian and the author of 'T...he Well of Loneliness'. DYS provides a platform for creatives within the community to speak their truths in a safe space. We are bringing you a delicious queer line up and our favourite open mic to share your own stories and experiences, whether it's your first time or you're a published wordsmith. With special guest poets TBA. If you would like to be a part of the open mic send us a message here or if you're feeling spontaneous you can sign up at the door, limited spots available. Join us at The Treasury 1860 144 King William Street Kaurna Land This is an accessible event space. Doors at 7PM Wednesday18th November. 16.01.2022 What a privilege it is to be queer and celebrate with you all at Feast Festival. What a line up. What a good time. We can not wait to see you. Tickets are in our bio. The Well of Words pays respect to John Radclyffe Hall, who identified as a proud lesbian and the author of ‘The Well of Loneliness’.... Biiig thanks to our mate Molly for this beautiful art. This event is taking place on stolen Kaurna Land. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be.

08.01.2022 2020 has been one bumpy ride, for those who are feeling creative but don’t quite know how to put those feelings to paper, this is the workshop for you! Mental health week is around the corner and so we are working together with MindshareSA to host a couple of events, in order to raise awareness and to help rid the stigma around mental health. This Saturday Alison Paradoxx Bennett and I are coming together via zoom, to discuss some techniques that will give you amazing writers the encouragement you need to step out of your comfort zone and express yourself and share your stories of lived experience. Save yourself a spot now!
