You didn’t say why but I know it’s because this is your first birthday without your beloved Mum. Duggi fought so very hard to live but after 12 years of living with cancer she couldn’t keep going. I don’t really know how to ease your sadness other than to say time heals and your Mum lives on in you and our children. You’ve achieved so much and with such brilliant i...ntegrity and honesty. Growing up you wanted to be a pilot, but when you were 15 your father tragically died. He was a dearly loved Doctor in Springvale and you decided to follow in his footsteps. At only 16 you were accepted into Medicine at Melbourne University. Our kids know how hard this stage of your life was grieving your Dad and just trying to survive (and with no money). You’ve become one of the finest Plastic Surgeons in the world through talent and pure hard work. Last month you did revision Facelifts on two of Australia’s most famous actors. Both came to you after being maimed by surgery elsewhere. They are both so grateful to you and thankful for your dedication to plastic surgery. We’ve been married for almost 15 years and we are absolutely blessed to have three children. I love watching Sophie debate with you about why she shouldn’t go to school (despite being straight A’s) and other issues relevant to a 13 year old (fake tan etc). It’s hilarious because she is her father’s daughter. Then there’s Kif. He’s named after you but no one in our house answers to Chris. Kif is a clone of you. He’s gentle, kind and dreams of a simple life in the country. And where would we be without William! We tell him that he was sent by God because he was the biggest surprise of our life. We must savour all the moments we have with our children because in a blink of an eye they’ll be leaving home. Happy Birthday my darling husband.
