24.01.2022 When you truly listen to a client, understand what they want to achieve, you can choose the best treatment for them. These photos are pre treatment and 4 weeks post treatment. No photoshop, no playing with angles or lighting. Just results. And this was done with 1 ml of dermal filler, and a little bit of anti-wrinkle to her lower face.... Results are expected to last around 6+ months, and because I didn’t do a hardsell to treat midface as well (as many others do), we kept costs at a level sustainable to upkeep twice a year. 17.01.2022 I’ve been very quiet recently. And there’s a reason why. I’ve been working on the next big thing. And it’s taking me back to where it all started. Excited is an understatement. 2019-2020 has shown me that even at 42 I still have things to learn. In particular, trust needs to be earned over time, and what people say doesn’t reflect who they are. My clients have grown to trust me over multiple visits and many years, as I’ve grown to trust this guy since our first beer/intervi...ew 6 years ago. I’m thrilled to be back.

14.01.2022 Why do I not routinely recommend treatments. It’s not for me as a Cosmetic Doctor to tell you what I would do, or what I think you need. It’s about you, how you feel, and what you would like done. I address your concerns and work with you to achieve your desired results. Yesterday I had a client from the Sunshine Coast see me in Brisbane. She had attended another clinic as she wasn’t sure where I had gone, but eventually found me.... Not only did she get poor results, the treating nurse also tried to upsell cheek filler (this client is in her early 30s with great volume and bone structure). The client asked me, Do you think I need cheek filler? I loved my cheeks, but now I’m paranoid about it. Upselling has no place in medical procedures. It violates AHPRA guidelines, but that aside, it’s also ethically and morally wrong. If you are going to a clinic, and feel pressured, or that you’re being upsold something you weren’t looking for, please walk away. Find someone who’s looking out for your best interest, and not their back pocket

10.01.2022 Crow’s feet. Some people love them, some don’t. I personally find that extensive Crow’s feet can prematurely age you. I’d rather not have them. But it’s your choice, and I’m not one to tell you that you need them treated. However, if you do want them reduced, we can achieve great results. 07.01.2022 Did you know that neck bands, caused by the platysmus muscle can be treated with anti-wrinkle injectables? The platsymus has its origins in the pectoralis muscle and inserts into the mandible (jaw). Besides the ‘neck bands’ it can also have the effect of obscuring the jawline. Notice in the after photo that not only have the neck bands have reduced, but there’s also a sharper border along the jaw through the chin. 04.01.2022 Love what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life. I’m thrilled to be back working in places where clients are treated like people, and not like wallets. I’ve always felt that if you treat everyone like you would your own mother, you’ll do just fine.

01.01.2022 I often get asked what I use on my skin. This is my line up (actual photo of my medicine cabinet). I’m not saying you need to use this many products. I didn’t start here. I started with 3 of the basics (cleanser, Complexion Renewal Pads, and Daily Power Defense). Over time, I slowly tweaked, adding Vitamin C in the AM, and in the evening adding the Exfoliation Accelerator to maximise penetration of the PM serums (alternating Growth Factor Serum and 1% retinol).... ZO has changed the way I think about skincare and skin health. Proper skincare can repair the skin from the inside out. It needs to be the backbone of any cosmetic treatment plan.
