23.01.2022 #TSODailyDose big congratulations. fabulous achievement. and super well done host Mitch Nissen

21.01.2022 Here’s a selection of short courses that look absolutely great for helping us through the challenges of COVID-19, and for building a more confident and resilient community. Thanks University of Tasmania

20.01.2022 I’ve been writing a journal through this COVID-19 time; a milestone in the life of the world, so that when it’s all over I’ll have a record. And it’s not too late to start writing a journal ... we’ve still got a long way to go with the transition from where we are now to what the future holds what life will be like, how our lives will be, as we go forward with fewer restrictions. I’ve been thinking back to the ‘early days’ of the restrictions, pre-Easter, and reading my jou...rnal. Gosh ... we were all in something like shock. It’s so interesting how by and large we’ve adapted to this new way. Many of us are in the groove, albeit a bit of an odd groove. Writing a journal provides a lovely focus. It helps with thinking things through, and expressing gratitude. I recommend it. Dr Di Xx

12.01.2022 I hope you and yours are good and well. I’m using books, TV shows, movies, and podcasts to help distract me from the COVID-19 news. I've also been going for lots of long walks, staying away from other people; 1.5 metres away. And smiling at people, saying hi lovely acknowledgement that we’re in these difficult times together, doing our best.... Getting exercise and sunshine is calming and takes the edge off uncertainty, and it feels productive. And while we’re experiencing cold mornings, the days are beautiful. Exercise is so important to health, mood, and immune function. If you can, try to get exercise during this extraordinary and stressful time. I'm talking much more on the phone these days too. I’m available for appointments by phone, FaceTime, and Skype. Dr Di 0439 033 264

07.01.2022 I hope you and yours are good and well. I’m connecting with family and friends, and reaching out to people who might feel isolated. This is a time when technology can be really useful. Call, text, FaceTime, send funny videos of your dog or cat, play Words With Friends; there are just so many meaningful and fun ways to connect. We all want to feel cared for. ... I'm talking much more on the phone these days. I’m available for appointments by phone, FaceTime, and Skype. Dr Di 0439 033 264

07.01.2022 I hope you and yours are good and well. I’m continuing with my comfort rituals and creating new ones. And you may already have rituals that help you feel grounded throughout the day. These might be very helpful now or could even be adapted if your usual comfort rituals are disrupted. Find ways to have pleasant patterns through your day that allow you to feel grounded and calm. It might be meditation; it might be a cup of your favorite tea; or, it might be a bedtime story with... your children. I'm talking much more on the phone these days. I’m available for appointments by phone, FaceTime, and Skype. Dr Di 0439 033 264
