10.01.2022 This is HUGE! There is so little footage on this fantastic marsupial, so it's pretty exciting to watch this new clip that has been discovered in the archives. It features Benjamin, the very last documented Tasmanian Tiger. Note the awful enclosure. It's no wonder thylacines never bred or lived long in those conditions. Benjamin died of exposure when a keeper accidentally locked him out from his warm den overnight. https://www.abc.net.au//tasmanian-tiger-thylacin/12263548

10.01.2022 Artist bundle for Jess. I snuck in my coloured pencil of choice a @fabercastellglobal polychromos because they are awesome, and pretty. @withlovetattoo

Its fur is thick and woolly and varies from silver-grey, brown, black, to cream. It has a bushy prehensile tail which it uses to grasp onto branches. The brushtail possum is found throughout Australia. This possum eats leaves but also eats flowers, fruits, and insects. @withlovetattoo

02.01.2022 Added a sunflower on Darcy under a healed butterfly I did a year ago. Spewing I forgot to touch up that antennae! I'll have to get that next time. But a good example to show you all what we like to touch up. @withlovetattoo

02.01.2022 Laughing kookaburra with gum on the forearm for Lilly. The kookaburra has been nicknamed the bushman’s alarm clock." Families gather year-round at sunrise and sunset to announce their territorial boundaries. A shorter burst of laughter is used when trying to locate family members. An intense koooaa sound serves as an alert to some sort of outside threat, while a sharp cackle asserts dominance and indicates an imminent attack on another bird. Softer chuckles and squawks are used during courtship in the breeding season. Juveniles use similar sounds to beg for food or show submission. @withlovetattoo
