24.01.2022 At last, its finally happening! As of this coming Thursday (the 25th of June) Dreadnaught Dojos will officially start running our Kids Karate classes. Our classes are perfect for: ... Teaching life long skills such as respect, discipline and resilience. Building the foundations of self confidence. Providing a safe and well monitored training environment tailored for fun and fitness. Our dojo includes: A state of the art 276 square metre mat area An award winning instructor who is passionate about martial arts and dedicated to developing capable and well rounded martial artists Enthusiastic and friendly male and female black belt assistant instructors willing to aid our future black belts progress through their martial arts journey just like they once did when they first started. We are so excited to start this new chapter in Dreadnaughts history, and we cant wait to see some little people joining us on the mats very soon! 08.01.2022 Last nights training session we paid tribute to Stewart Ralf, 8th Dan Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu iaido from the Gold Coast, who passed away last Thursday. Stew had been Renshi Perrys friend and iaido instructor and Renshi Sams head iaido instructor in Australia. The techniques and philosophies passed on from Stew have been part of Dreadnaught dojos for more than 10 years and will continue to be incorporated into our Zen Do Kai.
