24.01.2022 I've had a number of people ask about whether I can build weight releases similar to shown in this photo. These would be made from Australian laser cut steel, and height adjustable for squatting or benching. A similar design to these, but a little more elegant. Pricing will depend on how many I order, but max price will be $200/pair (and I'll drop the price as low as I can with sufficient quantity)

22.01.2022 A couple may have seen my hint as to my new project a few weeks ago. This is a flywheel platform. If you know how to use one, they're brilliant for training as well as rehab purposes, with a bonus of requiring no additional weights with a small footprint (approx 1000x600). It comes with an attachment unit to which you can fit all manner of training implements with a carabiner - handles, harnesses, etc. I have one spare for the prototype run. The difference between this and th...e final product will be mostly cosmetic - paint instead of powder coat, bare steel shaft, plain straps, grip paint surface instead of checker plate, etc. Unlike some of the other units on the market, this is absolutely affordable for a home gym and studio - I'm expecting the production unit to come in around the $1800 mark, whereas similar products are between $5-8k; we also offer 5 flywheels included instead of optional, expensive extras. All logs have CNC plasma cut bodies, double laser cut end plates, and existing logs have been road tested at some of the biggest competitions around - meaning you get one of the most durable and comfortable logs you're going to find. As always, these are made entirely of Australian steel, and built right here in Brisbane. A 50% deposit is required for order, and we will hold orders open for a week. #DSE

21.01.2022 For the next few weeks, we're working on some small batch projects. First up are 5 sets of weight releasers, with our typical massive overbuilding - 4mm wall thickness on the uprights and 10mm laser cut steel bases. 21.01.2022 Our next project is something we've been looking at for a while - specialty bars. While we've used a lot of bars from different companies, there has been some issues - weird empty weights, not fitting on racks, being too awkward to load, etc. No more.... Introducing our Behemoth line of specialty bars. First up is the multi-grip Swiss bar. 30kg empty weight, fits all comp benches/stands we've measured, and has ideal handle placement for comfort and application. These are all laser cut and built in Brisbane from Australian steel - not imported and sold at a huge markup with 2-3 months wait for delivery. At the moment the price is around the $350 mark, however as always if the final build price comes down with a big order quantity we will reduce our prices accordingly. 19.01.2022 Despite thinking I was done with log orders for the year, I've received multiple enquiries and will be doing one more batch before Xmas. To get on the reserve list, please fill out the form below - the form just puts your name down for first reserve on the logs as orders are limited, and when the order goes live you will have 7 days to respond to the email and pay a 50% deposit to confirm your order. These logs have been used at multiple local, state and national competitions..., and as long as you don't do anything silly with them will last forever. CNC plasma cut thick wall tube, double-reinforced loading pins and optimised handle width depending on log size makes these one of the strongest logs on the market - as well as being absolutely affordable. Although these are loadable to any weight you can feasibly carry and made from all-Australian steel, that's not the coolest thing about them. They form one part of a totally modular strongman event system; with the release of additional pieces in the coming months, you have the ability to put together almost a dozen events using the same base components.... It will be, effectively, a strongman gym in a box - covering a pretty wide spectrum of events you're likely to encounter, and can all be packed down after use. The yokes are $750, with a 50% deposit required. Accepting a very limited number of pre-orders for pickup only, with completion in around 4 weeks. #DSE

12.01.2022 Exciting news through the #gympocalypse. As we've got a handle on our new workshop and getting a feel for lead time for suppliers, as of next week we will start allowing some pre-ordering of equipment again with some limitations - every Saturday morning we will have a list of equipment that will be available by the following Saturday at the latest. Pre-orders require a non-refundable 50% or $100 deposit (which ever is lesser), with pickup by the following Sunday. We also hav...e some discounted equipment reserved for healthcare workers. This also means we're able to finally get back into a bunch more strongman gear including some yokes, farmers and axles - although we're still unable to make logs until our laser cutting lead time becomes a little bit more acceptable. 02.01.2022 Pumped to have been a part of this build! Reposted from @valhalla_strength_sth_bne If we're going to build something, we're going to overbuild something. In a collaborative project between @allscaledemo, @dreadnoughtstrengthequipment and @valhalla_strength_sth_bne members, our new adjustable height stone platform is almost done - just needing to add our reinforced shelf to top it off.... Weighing somewhere in the ballpark of 250kg by itself and constructed out of reclaimed hardwood laminate beams and structural pine, it's adjustable from 1m to 1.8m in 200mm increments, and can take whatever stone we throw at it - which is a good thing considering what we've got on the way! We're looking forward to our reopening next month, and have been very busy through the Gympocalypse acquiring a bunch of very exciting gear for our members. #takemetoVALHALLA
