04.01.2022 "I have been trying to assist my son with his educational challenges for years with no luck, so much so my son has had to repeat transition/prep, as he could not read, write, identify words, numbers, or the alphabet. My son is ADHD and suspected Autism diagnoses and found school and, by extension all academic learnings challenging. I had been searching for one on one assistance for someone of whom could not only help my son but who he was able to build a rapport and eventual...ly trust. I felt it would be in my son's best interests to have a face to face tutor, we had undertaken online services by way of doctors and Occupational Therapy in the past. For one reason or another, these people moved on with new consultants replacing them, and they too moved on shortly afterward. My son no longer engaged with any online consultants as his trust was broken and felt like a number sort of speak. Within 4 weeks of starting with Dream Catcher Tutoring and Consultancy, my son was able to identify numbers, by 6 weeks he was able to identify the alphabet, 2 months and my son can write words. We are currently 3 months on, and my son is writing sentences, he can identify sounds, rhyming words and count to 100, he is happy in class as he now understands what is being taught. He is a happier student who is now confident enough to not only ask for help from the teacher and teachers aide he has also begun helping others in class from lessons he has learnt from Ms Gemma.
