08.01.2022 NXTGEN 2020 Last night I headed to Dubbo to watch Abbey and Lily perform in the Nxtgen Projects Destination Both girls attended 6 days of workshops last holidays and the performance last night was mind blowing #countrykidscandance... Thank you Nxtgen Project for bringing this amazing opportunity to Dubbo. It really was something special for these dancers to be part of Every single dancer on that stage was shining so brightly and I couldnt be prouder to see our own Abbey and Lily up there as part of it. 01.01.2022 We are thrilled to welcome the gorgeous and talented Alycia Trainor back into the studio on Tuesday 7th July. She will be teaching Contemporary and Lyrical workshops for students 5yrs+ Private Lessons are also available. Everyone welcome, contact Miss Katie to book ... Alycia Trainor is a determined, versatile artist whose passion for movement grows every time she dances. She began her training at the age of six with Dream Dance Academy, developing skills in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop. In Year 11, she began studying at The McDonald College on scholarship, where her strong work ethic saw her place 2nd in the State for HSC Dance. During this time, she was also a member of LOcREaDO Dance Program, under the direction of Loredo Malcolm. Alycia has now completed both her Diploma of Dance & Certificate IV in Dance Teaching. Alycia is currently in rehearsals with LOcREaDO Dance Company as both a Dancer and Assistant. Previously, she joined the company in their show Affinity, as well as Th3 Combination in their original production 3C. Other credits include performing at the ICC T20 World Cup Opening Ceremony, HINO Gala, Pageant of the World and NRL, as well as appearing as a featured dancer in both Erthlings music video Cuts & Bruises, and C?NDYs music video Imma do Me. She has also performed in Sarah Boulters original creation of Emotions in Motion, as well as appeared in several editions of Dancetrain Magazine, modelling for Capezio, Bloch, Studio 7, Cosi G and Sashed the Label Dancewear.
