08.01.2022 It’s been quite a while since we have posted on Facebook so thought I would let you know what Mal and I have been up to for the past 6 months.... After deciding not to take on any more weddings after Dec 2017...I have enjoyed getting my life back and having more time to spend with our family. Our gorgeous little grandsons and another on the way. This has also allowed us to enjoy our winter Japan trip in Jan/Feb to our holiday house in Hokkaido (which can also be rented by our... Facebook followers with a link to our Japan site from our Dreamers website). Following our Japan trip we have had time to enjoy our beautiful Dreamers property and do some great new upgrades for our guests to enjoy.... As we are trying to wind our busy lives down we have now put Apt 3 (which is one of our 3 bedroom rammed earth Eco apartments) on the market to sell, which can be rented or lived in by the buyers. (Contact Alpine Valley Real Estate if interested) We are still renting Apt 1 and Penthouse Eco Apt over the winter period and of course all 4 of the spa chalets so if you are still looking for winter accommodation please send me a message or call. Also we would like to thank all of our wedding couples and families that tied the knot at Dreamers over the past 20 years. It truely is an end of an era for us finishing the weddings....We have some wonderful memories of those special weekends with you all and hope you continue returning for your anniversaries and show the kids where you were married. 04.01.2022 To give you an update of how Dreamers and Mt Beauty is faring with the fire threat.... The last of our very understanding Christmas guests at Dreamers evacuated yesterday and Mal and I, my parents and family all left last night and are now waiting it out with family in Albury. The latest news is that Falls Creek is under immediate threat but we at this stage are fine. It is just a waiting game now and the next few days are predicted to be cool and maybe a bit of rain so we wi...ll return tomorrow if safe. Back to the ever oppressive smoke! 03.01.2022 Well a few weeks on and our beautiful Mt Beauty returns to its usual glory! We have been very blessed to have fires that have retreated without touching us yet again and life goes back to normal. Please help us in restoring tourism to Dreamers and our surrounding North East region.
