25.01.2022 Lakes Entrance Foreshore Market this morning

24.01.2022 The lavender plants have been flowering really well. I cut some of the lavender and dry it. Once it is fully dry i immerse it in olive oil for 3 to 4 months. This gets used in my natural soap and also in balm. Lavender essential oil is also used to help the lavender aroma stand out . This soap is made with olive oil rice bran oil canola oil coconut oil and castor oil shea butter. These oils create a beautiful nourishing bar. Lavender is recognized as a natural healing and relaxing addition. This soap has a light colouring with natural colourants. The soap is $6a bar. I wrap it in Kraft paper but can take special orders if you would pefer brighter wraps. Postage is $10 or pickup or delivery is available locally.

24.01.2022 Leaving for the market this morning.

23.01.2022 These are my yellow soaps They are coloured with turmeric and not as bright as the flowers in color but make up for it with their bright aromas Lemon Myrtle essential oil Lemon e.o and poppy seed Bergamot and green tea

21.01.2022 At last, Dream Farm Natural Soap is coming to Facebook!!

21.01.2022 I planted borage in my vegetable garden some years ago, it died down and I forgot about it. When the fires came through, the heat helped the seeds in the soil germinate. So I will cut it, dry it and infuse into oil. I was thinking soap but after reading about the wonderful benefits of borage, Im now thinking balm. Plenty of time to decide as i will infuse oil for a minimum of 3 months. This is my lavender and peppermint balm that I love. Beautiful for dry hands. Also good as lip balm. Love balms so versatile.

20.01.2022 Chai latte soaps. Made with cinnamon essential oil, cardamom infusion and ginger. A small amount of cows milk. This soap truly has the authentic aroma of chai latte tea.

19.01.2022 Christmas is coming. Time to shop!!!

19.01.2022 As the end of the year is here, I would like to thank all of the people I have met over the past year. It has been great fun meeting new people at the markets, and a joy seeing customers coming back for more of my soaps. I truly enjoy making soap and it is wonderful to see you enjoying them too. I had planned to be at Lakes Entrance Foreshore Market on Sunday, but as the fires are likely to impact us, everything is uncertain. We managed to move our beautiful animals yesterday and have our cars packed. At this stage all we can do now is wait and see. I hope everyone stays safe. Residents, visitors and the wonderful firefighters. Again thank you for your support Take care Veronica Dream Farm Natural Soap East Gippsland

17.01.2022 I love patchouli soap It has an earthy musk aroma. I think it reminds me of the 70s, when I was so much younger than today. It's made with olive ricebran coconut and canola oils shea butter and castor oil with patchouli essential oil

14.01.2022 Its been a long time since the markets have been open but Ive still been making soap. I wouldnt have believed that nearly 6 months on since the bushfires we would be still clearing up. When ever Im feeling a little overwhelmed, I tune everything else out and make soap!

13.01.2022 The new normal. Big shed to a little shed. Grass growing for the first time in 3 years, but no fencing. A bit of smoke today but much better than it has been.

12.01.2022 A sneak peek at my Lemon Myrtle soap. It is a lovely fresh sweet lemon aroma with turmeric for colour! Lemon Myrtle essential oil has a bright, energizing effect and turmeric is often used in face masks for its brightening effects. A perfect soap for the morning. This soap is still curing and will be available in one to two weeks time.

12.01.2022 Looking forward to Howitt Park Market @ Bairnsdale.

06.01.2022 Who needs a lawn mower or gardner when you have big pets. Tahlia, Amaritha & Lucy Lou helping out this morning.

05.01.2022 An update on where we are. Monday night we went to bed knowing that the fire was in our street and we believed that we would loose everything. 6am yesterday morning we received a phone call to say that our house was ok, but we had lost our shed. Importantly, my darling steer mr moo had also survived. Sarsfield has been on the news due to the devastation. We are extremely lucky. My heart goes out to all those that didnt fare so well. A big thank you to all the wonderful help from people over the last 48 hours. Dream Farm is still the right description, not just for the place but for the people.

04.01.2022 Getting up really early isnt my favourite thing, but the beautiful sunrise this morning made it worthwhile

04.01.2022 We are in our normal spot, all set up and ready to go!!!

04.01.2022 At Dream Farm, it doesnt matter if you are making soap or getting dinner, if it is past 5pm Miss Lucy Lou will remind you who comes first.

02.01.2022 NEW BEGINNINGS A beautiful sunrise from our backyard. Trees coming back from the Bush fires Starting a new garden although there is still so much to do. Ive also started making time to make soap, including this wonderful ylang ylang and charcoal soap. ... Its easy to become overwhelmed, so we all need to take time to do what we love See more

02.01.2022 We are the lucky ones. We lost our 3 bay shed, work shed and fencing. We are safe and so are our strange menagerie of animals. From Monday 30th December until now is a bit of a blur. I want to thank so many people, the staff at the saleyards who fed and watered our animals every day, our wonderful friend who reached out and gave us not only a room, but who also looked after us in every way possible. The numerous people, friends, family and strangers who reached out to us.... The people on the street who stopped to ask if we were ok. The wonderful men who turned up at our property asking what we needed done, securing our fencing in one paddock so we could bring our animals home and then coming back with hay, not asked for but very much appreciated. Neighbors who watched over our place when we couldnt be there. People who had bought my soap reaching out. So many more... We are the lucky ones in so many ways. The landscape has changed, so black so burnt and the fires arent over yet so no complacency but the community has pulled together. Thank you See more
