25.01.2022 Drop a if you’ve ever felt like you tried to lose fat within 2 weeks, didn’t see the results so you gave up? And so, the only thing you used to track your progress was solely relying on the scale and photos? In a way, the cycle continues and you try again, but it doesn’t work so in the end you decide to give up? If you are stuck in a plateau and want to press the play button so your goals can move forward again, then stop scrolling and read what i’m about to tell you. This... is my 8 week fat loss progress. Within the first 4 weeks, I progressed in terms of performance but I didn’t see any physical progress which felt a bit discouraging. However, I knew in my heart that I had to be patient. After 8 long weeks of training and eating in a calorie deficit, I was able to finally see visible physical progress. You see, it wasn’t just about restricting myself to certain foods. It was about being able to stick to the designated calories for that day/ for the week consistently and reducing the amount of discretionary foods that contain saturated fats and excessive sugar. Here’s what I did: Had the suggested amount of serving in each food category. Not sure where to start with that? Increased my activity level Stayed close to my macros but would be flexible around it for my mental wellbeing. Overall, my main aim was to at least stick to the designated calorie amount for each day Meal prep so I didn’t have to worry about not eating my veggies/fruits. I made a intake and activity tracker to help me track my progress along with measurements. Tag a person who you think needs to hear this!
