25.01.2022 It never ceases to amaze us how collectable Japanese cars from the 80's and 90's are becoming. The latest episode of Shannons Club TV takes a look at the brilliant first generation Subaru Liberty RS Turbo. About 1000 of these came to Australia in the early 90's and if you're after one today then it's not an easy find. A quick search showed nothing on Carsales and just a single 1992 vehicle up for grabs on Gumtree Australia. It's pretty heavily modified and is $18500 We are... massive Subaru Australia fans and have a few in our collection. It's amazing how rare these vehicles are becoming, and how collectible. There's nothing on Carsales but a couple of cars are available on Gumtree Australia. A beige 1975 automatic 4 door with a bit of rust and 250,000 km's on the clock is around $4k while a very original white 4 door auto with only 50,000 km's is well priced at $6k. If you were thinki...ng of a restoration then our pick would be the 1974 180B SSS Coupe that is a bit rough around the edges at $10k. When was the last time you saw a Datsun 180B on the road?
