22.01.2022 When we were still meeting, we worked with Ian on some puppetry ideas for 'Alice Dreaming'. We are still imagining this project and hope to perform 'Alice Dreaming' somehow, somewhere, later in the year.

21.01.2022 Have Your Say: Draft Arts & Culture Strategy is now on public exhibition After extensive community consultation to explore what Arts & Culture means to our Comm...unity, the draft Strategy identifies five cultural policy planning domains and six goals that will guide the Arts & Culture outcomes across our region. The draft goes into detail about each of the Domains: 1. Culture 2. Environment, 3. Civic 4. Economic 5. Social and identifies Key Actions that our community can be a part of to create a vibrant and rich music, arts and culture scene on the Peninsula. Thank you to everyone in the community who contributed their feedback to help create a dynamic Draft Arts & Culture Plan. 20.01.2022 For the Dreamhouse annual production 2019, the ensemble of 16 young people brought this wonderful version by Donna Abela of the ancient tale 'Journey to West', to life in Rosebud.

12.01.2022 Darker is a conversation between five young women, that exposes the sometimes murky undercurrent to living on the Peninsula. Darker is presented as part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, an international campaign to eliminate gender-based violence and discrimination

10.01.2022 We are so very grateful to Rye, Dromana and Rosebud Community Bank for their generous support of Dreamhouse TC. Ensemble member Katie and AD Carole were thrilled to attend this event, meeting and connecting with other recipients and being awarded sponsorship of $5,000 on behalf of Dreamhouse. Thank you!! Funds will go toward the annual production scheduled for May 2020, and to supporting and expanding the theatre workshop program Dreamhouse offers.

09.01.2022 So inspired by the Dreamhouse ensemble who have adapted and committed to online workshops. For now, flexibility is the key. We create and catch up each Wednesday. Always leave the session with a skip in my step.

06.01.2022 Weekly workshops have finished for 2020, but we'll be acting up in January with our annual Summer holiday theatre skills sessions. Any young person aged 13-21, on the Mornington Peninsula can join in. Workshops are led by professional teaching artists and the 2021 program includes 'Acting for screen', 'Scriptwriting', 'Clowning/physical theatre/comedy' and more!
