24.01.2022 Hi all supporters and customers of our Zero Waste Stall. We have pulled out of setting up at the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshores today due to heavy winds and potential rain. (recycled paper items are not very fun in the wind). I hope you guys understand - We should be back in full swing next Sunday the 10th of July. 11.01.2022 Surprise Birthday Present arrived today! 5000 reusable cotton bags!! What am I going to do with all this! Need Help!! Attached are photos of the unpacking pro...cess - I was particularly happy to see one wish come true which was to minimise plastic wrapping with the cargo which used to be wrapped with a thin sheet of all white plastic wrapping. All left now on the plastic list is the strapping (which may be difficult to avoid - but I will push!) Anyhow I now have my own slightly tedious methods of seperating the plastic holding straps from the soft metal clip to ensure all left over plastic, metals and cardboard is sorted and recycled properly. THIS IS A ZERO LANDFILL OPERATION! And has been so for the past 2 Years! :) I absolutely love it when I see manufacturing and packaging methods change towards Zero Waste!! Big thumbs up to my supplier of this beautiful organic cotton!

10.01.2022 I am happy to announce that Dreamtime Mentors Indigenous Corporation has made the Finals for this years Coffs Coast Business Start Up Pitch Competition. June 2nd we will pitch our business to expert judges and to community members and fellow entrepreneurs. The local success of our Zero Waste Starter Packs has been our highlight with over 500 packs sold over the last year. This has saved potentially 250,000 plastic bags per year being used and sent to landfill or scattered throughout our surrounding bushlands or waterways. We now are looking at sourcing funds to expand throughout all NSW and Australia, and we need your support! Hope to see you there at the Coffs Ex-Services Club backing us on the day!
